Not all of them for sure, we can't rid all of them. Altcoins are here to stay and they will just ride along with Bitcoin fluctuations. And imagine how long it will take for bitcoin to make it to $100 mark?

when that happens I think the altcoin will be strong enough too. maybe at the beginning of altcoin it will get a little worse, but when bitcoin has stabilized altcoin will slowly be positively affected by that increase.

maybe in the future there are some altcoins that have disappeared because of this, but the rest will survive and have a good future.

Most of them shouldn't have had any value in the first place. Shits like ripple has value because they didn't have a fair distribution and are %100 premined. (it is not even crypto) And also there are instamined shitcoins like dash which offers anonymity but then we also got monero which does it better already.

The only coins which deserve some value other than bitcoin are;

Monero (it does 1 thing but it does it well and it has been doing it for a loong time so xmr definitely deserves value),
Grin (mimble wimble is a new cool tech),
Eth (i don't like this one and it is probably going to fail but at least it is trying something different. Eth definitely deserves some value but not more than $20/piece imo) and
Doge (because memes are cool).

The rest can die tomorrow and nobody would miss anything.

IMO it will be hard for the altcoins to survive under such market conditions. BTC will hit the higher prices surely but altcoin will not be able to follow this path. If there is a rally on the dominant coin then this will be in the expense of other coins aka altcoin.

I think not, most of the altcoins are gaining momentum if Bitcoin will rise. But reaching $100k for Bitcoin is yet to be proven since the last ATH is just $20k. Anyways, useless altcoins will surely die but not those trusted one's.

indeed the number of altcoins will be reduced because they are unable to survive, but some altcoins will remain here and survive especially ethereum, i'm sure ethereum can keep up with bitcoin fluctuations.

sacrifice another coin? what it means is that bitcoin will be able to have a high price if other coins die, in other words the market only focuses on bitcoin and every transaction is only for bitcoin and if that's what they mean then I think it will never happen, whatever, bitcoin won't once standing alone on the market, there will always be other coins and I think without sacrificing any other coins bitcoin is still likely to have high prices and even reach that price because bitcoin has a large market demand while its inventory is very limited

altcoin won't die because the crypto market isn't just about bitcoin. maybe when bitcoin rises, altcoin is red. but after that the altcoin will follow. this is like last year's ATH event. at that time the BTC went up very high, and the altcoin wasn't destroyed.

so if bitcoin reaches 100k in the future. it will make the market better and certainly nothing will be sacrificed.

Majority will die but there will be strong altcoins that will remain to the market.Bitcoin to $100k, I've heard of this news this morning and as for reading that news since it was posted to a certain group on fb.I've seen crypto folks that are too doubtful on this, remember that they are into crypto and should be called crypto enthusiast and yet they are very much skeptic about bitcoin reaching $100k soon.

I believe not all Altcoin will be destroyed if Bitcoin touches $ 100k. Altcoin like Ethereum, Dash, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin will boom following the trend of Bitcoin prices.  I say this because I saw it in the past 2017, which at that time the price of some Altcoin go to the moon following the price of the Bitcoin that go to the moon too.

The road to 100k will definitely pump the altcoin market, just like in 2017 when the btc uptrend pretty much triggered a massive rally in the entire market, same thing could happen during the next bull market (probably the one that will take the btc price to 6-figures), so it's very unlikely that once BTC hits 100k other alts will simply dissapear. The altcoin will still be very profitable to a lot of people, and rather than shitcoins dissapearing, I wouldn't be surprised if the complete opposite occurs and more shitcoins start popping up as people will be eager to take profits from every coin avalaible.

Am really surprise as to why bitcoin is going up and almost all the altcoins are bleeding. Ethereum for instance have not shown any positive sign. I wish by now we would have crossed the 200$ mark but ethereum is still struggling

Yes I believe that all altcoin die when the time that bitcoin will hit at $100,000 value. Because when it happen all people are going to invest only in bitcoin,hoping for another price value increase. But I also believe that it will never happen because $100,000 is too huge increase coming from $5500-$5800 value this not realistic so don't worry about that issue that become topic on the film.

I think this is the opinion of an incompetent specialist who absolutely does not understand the essence of the crypto economy. Each altcoin is the core of a closed infrastructure of a specific project and the price of Bitcoin is only important for its price, and not for the project’s work. Moreover, at present, altcoins are practically not tied to Bitcoin as it was a year ago. Many alts can be immediately withdrawn to fiat currencies. Most likely, if Bitcoin grows to $ 100,000, cryptocurrency fever will lead to increased interest in all altcoins, even the most unreliable.

I think not, most of the altcoins are gaining momentum if Bitcoin will rise. But reaching $100k for Bitcoin is yet to be proven since the last ATH is just $20k. Anyways, useless altcoins will surely die but not those trusted one's.

Most of the altcoin will follow Bitcoin price, if BTC price reach $100K then whole market altcoin price will rise too, but a lot of altcoin will dead when BTC price drop from $100K, that time will destroy altcoin, just same as year of 2017. Anyway it's still have a long way to go if btc reach that price level.

No way, if bitcoin reach $100k someday, the strength against altcoin aka btc domination will increase. However, you can't deny the fact that after having a lot of new investors or mass adoption, bitcoin will hit $100k which will also lead altcoin to another level, of course, those which has some potential.
