If the bitcoin boom is up to $ 100 then it will likely be able to influence the altcoin rather than destroy it.

I feel that bitcoin will be directly proportional to altcoin. of course increasing the price of bitcoin will make the altcoin price also increase. when the price of bitcoin increases, I think that is because there is a lot of demand, so that it will have the same effect on altcoin.

I read the news but I strongly disbelieve that if Bitcoin reaches $100k that other altcoin will die off. If the price increases, definitely their price will increase because they are all paired to to btc so they can't just die off because Bitcoin price went high.

We could not say that the altcoins will destroy if you have noticed now even Ethereum was swinging too through bitcoin price movement and we saw that there's progress on the price. I still believed that there are some profitable altcoins will pump to when bitcoin will reach 100k dollars which is possible to happen on this next halving comes. Altcoins are profitable when using these in trading with a pair of bitcoin and I think it won't happen stated by the OP.

If its some what stable you see flush value back to alts at any bar but the way up to 100k [depending on the speed] will be wild for alts since most people will bet on bitcoin for the gains and use there alts for it.

No, I can't see that happening. different coins have different use cases, and whilst there is some overlap, I think it's inconceivable that any one coin could be the perfect answer to every use case.
BTC is number one and the most popular coin. It is the public face of crypto. Most people outside crypto think that crypto = BTC...
but that doesn't mean that BTC is better than ETH for smart contracts, or better than XRP for fast international payments, etc etc.
I don't think we'll ever have one coin succeeding at the expense of all others.

First question is "if". I think 100k is an ambitious  target though we'll never really know until the time comes. And yeah i agree that if that happens, alts will take a big blow. But not all of them of course. If we can remember btc's 2017 run, ethereum and some other alts had their all time highs as well. So some will fly with btc while lower alts would likely get the axe.

Nope, I don't believe that bitcoin getting that high will destroy other altcoins. As bitcoins move up, good altcoins too move up and make good gains so in the event if $100k per BTC, most altcoins will be above $1k minimum. And for the altcoins with great future, it will be an avenue to overtake current altcoins leading on coinmarketcap. Definitely, shitcoins will die a natural death in that event.

I don't think that all the altcoins will die when the bitcoin price reaches $ 100000. In my opinion, worthless altcoins which has not good purpose and vision will die. And I don't believe that the death of these worthless altcoins is also very much tied to the Bitcoin price. But I think that other altcoins will continue to survive. And after 10-15 years, I believe that even if all the altcoins die which now on the market, they will be replaced by new altcoins on the market.

I am agree, if tbitcoin price reach $100k, i dont think altcoin will die because altcoin price will following. Beside that, its open to invest on altcoin because retail investor must be looking on cheaper investment and have potential in the future

They'll not literally gonna die, their market price will just going to fade out as a result of massive altcoin sell action by big investors in the market. That is considerably a precautionary measure, and a solution as well to become more profitable while this massive cryptocurrency (bitcoin) is now in a state or position that is anytime soon can achieve the ATH that we know.

I don't think that it will happen to altcoins because some of the altcoins will still survive and even that coins will come following bitcoin to increase. But yes, the other coins which don't have a good project will die because they don't have any support from the community. People will only choose the good project, and potential project to invests and they already know that they should buy the coin from now one before the price of the altcoin is increased.

The good altcoin will still exist besides bitcoin no matter how much bitcoin price and that is only happening to the coin which has a solid team, big community, and they have a good plan with the project. I will wait for the bitcoin price increase, and I am curious with what coins that will follow bitcoin later.

Many altcoins will bleed to death, some will definitely survive. Who will hold a shit when the king is turning others into a millionaire? Although before bitcoin can head for $100k, the general market size must increase and this will attract more investors, some investors will definitely invest in altcoins but will stake much of their fund in bitcoin.

I support your view about this it will only kill useless altcoin in case bitcoin price rise to that height, altcoins with no use case are dying already if bitcoin price will affect altcoins it is going to be those with no use case/adoption.

I don't think Max Keiser will be right about that. He's made a lot of statements that weren't right and that's how it's gonna be this time, I'm pretty sure. It has often been said that when Bitcoin breaks these or that price markets, altcoins die, but so far it has not happened. Altcoins are an important part of the Bitcoins ecosystem and therefore they will not simply die. This does not apply to all altcoins. The useless ones will die with time, no matter what price Bitcoin has at the time.
The last few years have simply shown that one should not believe everything that Max Keiser claims.

If the main target was to eliminate shitcoins i think i have to agree with their opinion and in the future all of we need is only potential altcoins walking together with bitcoin so i do agree if someday most of current altcoins will be disappears but reading at the article and apparently this is pure of speculate even more likely i highly doubt this will actually happend
