On the contrary, after the growth of Bitcoin, altcoins usually grow very strongly. You can make good money on this if you invest in promising coins. But there is a great variety of projects on the market right now, so in order to guess the coin you need to make a thorough analysis of it. I think, new coins with advanced technologies will grow in price impressively. And also community support is very important. Only decentralized enough coins will receive it.. Everything must be carefully thought out, including tokenomics.

Read that news multiple times but totally disagree with him. I never think that Bitcoin rocketing to 100k will destroy every other currencies instead of building them up. Considering what has happened before, when prices of bTc increases, it booms other coins or tokens

I don't think bitcoin hitting 100 grand will kill altcoins, but bitcoin's dominance will just increase, i don't think there will be any shitcoins that's gonna die, even bitcoin cash and bitcoin sv is still at top 100, it's unbelievable to see scam coins is still out there and portraying as "real bitcoin".

Yea, it will render most of the altcoins useless but I believe it will still take a lot of time for Bitcoin to hit that target and by them most of these altcoins most have built a solid foundation to survive

Definitely agree with this altcoins would not die specially if they have product the only altcoins would die is shitcoin that you get on some airdrop it became worthless value because they can't stand when bitcoin raise on high value they will became worthless well even the value of bitcoin was in 5600$ there was a lot of shitcoin that has no value at all.

I just hope that BTC can return to touch 7k for the next few months. New after stabilizing I'm sure to go up without control. And that might take a long time until the end of the year maybe for 100k dollars.

The price of  altcoins have been dependent on the price of bitcoin for sometimes now.. .  If price of bitcoin moves up the altcoins price move up as well.  I would love to see them move at their own merit though.
 So i do not understand why he thinks so or how those are connected.

or maybe vice versa, when the price of bitcoin increases, the altcoin price will fall because with the big increase that happen in bitcoin will make many altcoin holders sell all their assets to bitcoin, after they get a lot of bitcoin from the altcoin sales they hold, then they make big sales in bitcoin also that will make the market again experience a big correction due to FOMO

I don’t think it is rising at the expense of altcoins. Yes it’s going to affect altcoins but it wouldn’t be all of them, I don’t think the top altcoins in the crypto market just like Ethereum will he affected. If Bitcoin should reach $100,000 then Ethereum will as well reach a high price , cause it usually goes up as Bitcoin is going up.

Well, there is no need to be discussing what we are not even sure about , when that time comes we will know what to do. But likely it is the smaller altcoins that are going to die off and not the bigger ones.

First of all, rising to $100K is not possible for bitcoin.Bitcoin hardly can reach upto 20-30K like we saw last year.When bitcoin hits to It's maximum price, altcoin also was rising and live in the market like bitcoin.So, even someday bitcoin reach to $100K it Won't make altcoin dead.Altcoins are important in the market like bitcoin and we shouldn’t let altcoin dies for bitcoin.

Altcoin won't die even if btc reaches such price. Instead, they will follow the trend. They won't go as high as btc, but they will gain during that moment and we've seen it before. Same thing will happen if ever. Especially those top altcoin. If you think of other altcoin, well, they will always be shit no matter what the trend is.

Even without bitcoin going up to that amount, some altcoins without any use case or good team are already dead. If BTC surge to 100k$, nobody will talk about most shitcoins anymore, that's for sure.  But all these are just mere fallacies anyway, I believe a time will come when the world will embrace altcoins with proper use cases solving some real life problems.

Of course not all altcoins will survived in a long time specially when bitcoin price goes to like $100k. Investors will shows sell their altcoins and move their funds in bitcoin.

But altcoins specially in the top 10 will survived. Because they have existed for so long that people will tend to invest and trust like ETH, LTC.

Some altcoins that would die will not because of the price movement of BTC alone, but they will long be gone before bitcoin reaches that price due to the bad project that they have, which will make people pay less attention to them after they get dumped, and since they have no working product that could lift them up, they will die off market that people would not even be able to sell them off for Bitcoin.

Selling altcoins off for BTC is not a bad thing and it doesn’t mean they will still not be bought back by the [person selling it, they will only do that to do short trade with it in bitcoin and take profit, everyone knows that altcoins always have their own season, which we all run to too to take profit irrespective of the price of bitcoin.
