not surprise that exchanges that doesn't have native tokens are going to release their own. its definitely the time where IEO is becoming a tool to combat the scams.

This is a good development coming from bitfinex exchange. Since its coming from bitfinex I think a lot of people will demand for the coin and it will be sold out in some seconds.

That must be some sort of way to actually go back to top from bitfinex. They have been seen as an inferior place by traders and everyone basically sold their tether and got bitcoin for it and then withdrew their bitcoin. The reason why bitcoin is more expensive on their website is that people sell tether and get bitcoin which creates a specific only exchange wide request for bitcoin by everyone.

Since, they have been getting less and less customers lately they had to come with some sort of ways to get more customers, maybe they will somehow make this project work and if they can make it work then they could totally get back on the top maybe not as the biggest place but at least in top 10 possibly and loved by people again.

I think what Bitfininex is trying to do is to recoup funds which New York attorney general accused them of losing. I will wait and see how it goes, I won't rush to invest in this huge fund raising IEO.

Well we hope for the best, they are really learning fast from binance and trying to do everything possible to remain relevant in the crypto space, one secret I discovered in the crypto space is that in order for you to be relevant, you will need to keep upgrading you platform constantly before you can draw relevance, this was what binance understood and they have been taking advantage of it to make sure that their name is always had all of the time, and I think bitfinex has understood this same thing and are following suit.
