Not only the price of bitcoin is increasing if you go to coinmarketcap and check the top currencies you will see the chart for top 100 you will see that  almost all coins  price are increasing .

Right, some coins already increased. For example, Ethereum get it's increased price when i check my local exchanger and it is actually good. More than 10% than yesterday. And maybe it will continue to grow up like bitcoin.

All top 20 altcoins is increasing huge right now. Bitcoin cash, ethereum and litecoin has the biggest increase so far especially bitcoin cash.

If bitcoin can keep this increase, other altcoins price will increase too for sure. I think this is what we called bull market right?

Top coin all have a very high price increase today and that makes me earn a lot of money from long-term investments. OP, it may, or may not affect the altcoin market negatively. But currently, it is. Check the chart for Bitcoin's dominance in marketcap in Tradingview labeled "BTC.D". It's 60% and increasing.

I don't believe it means that the altcoin market is "dead", it probably means that it's "Bitcoin season".

yes I agree with you, indeed currently bitcoin dominates in the market, and I think altcoin will increase, it's just that I think altcoin is still waiting for the right position to rise.

Just as we all know that it just a game of whales of pumping and dumping. They just want to earn from this market by any means. If we compare charts it gained about 3000 USD in just 25 days but it dumped about 700 USD in 1 day. So, mostly the funds are going in out to BTC only for now, but definitely, some alts are showing ups with bitcoin.

yes, but before bitcoin stabilizes, of course growth for altcoin will not be too significant.

Whenever there is some increase in the price people just tend to trade bitcoin and buy back at the dip. As there will be continuous price fluctuation traders keep on buying and selling. As the thread title only bitcoin price is increasing compared to the growth percentage of bitcoin. I don't think XRP to be more potential, in the falling months EOS might catch up with the market.
