I saw somewhere in this forum a thread created where people were asked to predict if btc will ever get to $6000 this month and I was of the opinion that it looks very feasible technically. Infact we may be seeing a $6500 this month those we may be having a support around $5900 before that. Btc remains the king and I have a firm belive btc will never go back to this year's low anymore.

A year later, in these days we will be experienced new halving on Bitcoin network. So BTC block price will be dropped from 12.5BTC to 6.25BTC. In Bitcoin history, pre-halving times always shows a great price rise. I think we can easily reach up to 10K soon. (This is not an investment recommendation, it just my opinion)

Scenarios rarely ever repeat themselves precisely because of people's expectations.

Assume that everyone thinks 2017 will repeat itself. Then the price will crash a few months earlier because everyone will predict to sell in december/january, so everyone will sell in november, for example.

My 2 cents: I think that Tether has been exposed and the exponential valuation we saw in 2017 won't happen again. Growth will now be more linear but still upwards.

Even if the next things is, we see the bitcoin price is down, but we will see bitcoin price increase higher than now. And for people who still held bitcoin from $4000 level, I think they can try to sell some parts of bitcoin they have to take their money back while they can wait for another downtrend of bitcoin price so they can buy another part to hold again.

i am mostly surprised that it took this long for $6k to come back around after the whaledumpers pushed the price down with a lot of sells at the time. price should have bounced right back up after 1 months tops without falling that low to $3.1k which was a huge discout that we will never see again. right now we are only back to where we should have been 5 months ago before the FUD about BCash fork started and they caused panic and manipulated the market to artificially and temporarily keep the price down.
in other words if that hadn't happened price would have been at least $9k by now.

But the current situation made me failed to focus, because the reversal price is very fast. I am more surprised about the fact that it went back over $6000 sooner than I expected. The insane demand that came in the moment we broke $5000 was an absolute game changer for the short term window of the market.

Can we really consider $3100 to be a discount? Sure, now it definitely looks like a discount, but we hovered below $4000 for quite some time, which indicates that there wasn't enough demand at that point in time.

Yes, don’t be too confident that the market will go high as easy like this, anything can happen in just a seconds. this pace is not that fast though. we are still seeing a slow growth although this is not the slowest price rise we have seen but it is among them. a "fast pace" is when price rises 50% in one day which we have seen in the past. so for example if price reached $9k today or at least $7.1k, then that would be fast.
with the current trend we can expect $7000 to also be broken before this month ends. my reasoning is that bitcoin was ready to break $7k about 6-7 months ago so this is already behind scheduled rising.

it is because the bitcoin market is sometimes filled with people who entered only to make a lot of money in a very short time and when the obviously didn't happen they started panicking and started looking to others to explain to them what was happening. obviously those "others" took advantage and gave them bad explanations and suggestions to benefit themselves.

Indeed, it never fail us, although we went into a deep slumber when the price goes to $3k, but now it seems the bulls are already awake and the price is really making a good run. What we need to do is hodl and then buy some if you can afford it as this point.

Lol, what do you think was going to happen that made you panic sold, you would have just transferred your fund to another wallet if your coin was on bitcoin. There is no way Binance hacking would have affected the market value since it is just 7000 BTC out of the millions of BTC will have circulating.

When I saw that the price of bitcoin had broken the barrier, my first thought too was that people had started changing their BNB to Bitcoin, till I went to coinmarketcap and saw that BNB value was still as strong and firm as it has been, so I believe we just got some new investors who pushed the price of bitcoin to break the $6k barrier.

It is amazing how bitcoin really knocked us all off our feet, the surprise bitcoin has been coming with from the beginning of April has been a tremendous one, which shows that this year will be a very wonderful year in the cryptocurrency market.

Miners will start getting back on their feet now and I am glad bitcoin chose this period to perform, because china would have had their way when they planned banning mining, now that it is obvious that the market has already left the bear market finally, so many miners will be coming back into mining from different part of the world that will make china miners less relevant on the market.
