Bitcoin (BTC) has continued its uptrend. It broke above the overhead resistance of $5,900 on May 7 but could not close above it. However, we are not seeing any profit booking or aggressive shorting at this critical resistance. Both the moving averages are trending up and the RSI is in the overbought zone. This increases the probability of a rally to $6,480.54. Traders can trail their stops on the remaining long positions to $5,500. If the price sustains above $6,000, the stops can further be tightened to $5,800.

I saw somewhere in this forum a thread created where people were asked to predict if btc will ever get to $6000 this month and I was of the opinion that it looks very feasible technically. Infact we may be seeing a $6500 this month those we may be having a support around $5900 before that. Btc remains the king and I have a firm belive btc will never go back to this year's low anymore.

I am feeling happy even though i sold some of my holding yesterday after binance hack . But market showing positive sign even after such a massive hack news still market responding positively means its heading to next big milestone for sure.

A year later, in these days we will be experienced new halving on Bitcoin network. So BTC block price will be dropped from 12.5BTC to 6.25BTC. In Bitcoin history, pre-halving times always shows a great price rise. I think we can easily reach up to 10K soon. (This is not an investment recommendation, it just my opinion)

No matter what the current trend for Bitcoin is happening now, we should be thankful that it does not drop below $2k. Let's just enjoy what we are experiencing in this current market.

Scenarios rarely ever repeat themselves precisely because of people's expectations.

Assume that everyone thinks 2017 will repeat itself. Then the price will crash a few months earlier because everyone will predict to sell in december/january, so everyone will sell in november, for example.

My 2 cents: I think that Tether has been exposed and the exponential valuation we saw in 2017 won't happen again. Growth will now be more linear but still upwards.

Its been a long time since we touch this level and its really good to see bitcoin again on $6k level. I hope it can stay up to the end of May and continue the uptrend in June, the price are good right now don't take profit yet because the price can still go up.

Well, I'm a bit happy because the price of Bitcoin reached the $6k price but I'm still bearish on it until it reaches the $6800.

Maybe some here are thinking that the bull market has jut begun. I'm still waiting for the price of Bitcoin to do a massive correction and that is the time that I will accumulate more Bitcoin.

I'm hoping that it will continue to move up and the bull run will continue, we just read about the recent Binance hacked, but fortunately it did not make an impact on the price on the market, price had a good chance to reach $7000 this month and I'm thinking of the possibility it will hit $15,000, is it possible, even if there are still hacking incidents.

I definitely didn't see this coming actually, I thought bitcoin will going to bay at 5500 dollar till the second quarter of the year, not expecting that it can surpass the 6000 dollar hit right now, but what I have experienced is that, I loss too much since I am not aware about this and I already sold some of my BTC. I hope I can buy back again because of this.

I think the price of bitcoin has increased too much and many say that bitcoin in bullrun this year will tell me that the price of bitcoin will increase because it happens every year so for investors to take advantage of buy Altcoins with the potential to increase bitcoin is more likely to increase the altcoin price you will buy but make sure you have the potential and longterm you will buy so you do not lose your investment.

Market sentiment has changed, bad of fud hardly affect price these days seem amateurs who are easily get emotional with negative news are gone.

That will be a good sign for every people to prepare for the next things that might happen. Even if the next things is, we see the bitcoin price is down, but we will see bitcoin price increase higher than now. And for people who still held bitcoin from $4000 level, I think they can try to sell some parts of bitcoin they have to take their money back while they can wait for another downtrend of bitcoin price so they can buy another part to hold again.

But that is not guaranteed to see the bitcoin price can increase higher after this because the chance for bitcoin price to down still wide open and perhaps, the increasing of the price is for testing the new area before the price can increase higher. We still have much time to see the price will increase by more than $6500, so we need to use this time to take the profit before it's too late.
