in other words in third quarter of 2019 yet another centralized token is going to be added to the list of centralized tokens. the only difference is that this coin has a big name behind it so it can get hyped more compared to others and unless it is a stable coin we can expect big pumps out of it.

Your last sentence got my attention, hence I bolded it for reference. No, don't think it will make much impact whenever (if ever) Facebook comes out with a cryptocurrency. It will just be up in the media with much noise just like Electroneum did when it was launched, that's all. By the way, what is Facebook share worth in the stock market? Just a mere > $100+. Nothing more. If we were talking about a cryptocurrency from Amazon, then I could say, yes much impact. |

I think this is not happening right now because Facebook is still experiencing a lot of bad news related to users. If FB Stablecoin is released then only advertisers can get coin and it is hard to gain trust from everyone. I personally see this as a fake news because the fact that Facebook does not support this market so even if it is true, I will not care. |

They will create their own crypto to be used for their platforms and they are not interesting to create a correlation with crypto ecosystem but i heard a rumour about facebook will create a deal with exchange site if that happens in the future. this looks very interesting to watch more about how far facebook will try to take crypto as a serious ecosystem. We will meet the third quarter as soon as possible. |

Although it will be yet another stable coin but i think it will still help in understanding and adoption of crypto and blockchain to the masses and general public because fb has millions and millions of users and after seeing fb coin they will search and invest in other cryptos as well so it will be positive for crypto market.

I believe this will be one of coins in the top 10 CMCs. with the funds they have it won't be difficult to make a project successful. which is quite unfortunate. they seem don't need bounty hunters to succeed their projects. There have been rumour about Facebook altcoin over a year and till this moment Facebook itself haven't acknowledge such development and if eventually it comes through it'll be a coin to pay for services on Facebook and nothing more I guess

The rumours have been heating up recently, coupled with Facebook's reversal of the crypto ad ban... which suggests that FB are going ahead.
If they do, I think it will be an important point on the long road to mainstream adoption of crypto. If a billion users of FB suddenly have a Facebook coin that they can easily trade into BTC, ETH and so on, then it really removes that difficulty barrier of getting into crypto in the first place.

So far I have not found a direct notification from Facebook regarding the launch of their stable coin. Again I consider this a rumor. However, I don't think this FB coin launcher will affect the world of cryptocurrency a lot.

I don't really care about what facebook have to offer anymore to the crypto space, I have closed down my facebook account never to make use of it anymore, facebook is so centralized and I think it's totally against the idea of the blockchain, if they are going to launch a coin, I believe it would be a centralized coin which can be used on facebook for payment of ad created instead of using fiat as a method of payment, because I don't see any reason why mark will ban anything crypto in his platform and create a crypto project. |

I think this will become popular and people will embrace this kind of coin. First of all the main reason is the marketing.
