I don't think anyone here will be able to provide you the best possible move from current levels. If you haven't bought in yet, use a small fraction (max 25%) of your balance to buy in right now.

If you bought in well under current levels, then the same applies but in the opposite direction. Secure a small fraction just to have some fiat aside for when the price tanks, that way you'll end up with more Bitcoin. Smiley

Its better to give updates about crypto rather than just telling them to buy or selling. Its best to let them do the decision making this will help them to be a better investor.

The answer depends on your situation, if you are in kind of needy situation then start selling but as much as possible, don't sell all you've got. Decide for yourself if you want to short few amount of BTC you have and still continue to hold for long term.

Actually, that will be the suggestion of others I guess. Sell if you need cash and hold if you don't. That's it or if you're a trader, you sell now and wait for a dip and buy back. Depends on your strategy as well.

actually most people who understand the market a little bit, saw it coming. in fact this was long overdue and was expected to happen a while ago so it is even a little late if anything!

Quote

neither, an "investor" who didn't buy bitcoin
* when it was at the bottom and all the signs was telling him that price ($3100) is a great discount
* when the accumulation phase started and volume was high in $3k range and was a signal to buy
* when the rise began and price started going towards $4200 resistance
* when the breakout happened and he still refused to buy bitcoin for whatever reason
*....
such person is not called an "investors". i would advise them to stay away from the market and don't waste their money because they clearly can't see the signals. their first step is to stop listening to FUD online which was probably the reason whey they didn't in all those above cases, and to learn more about bitcoin and its future and its potential. and second step is to learn more about the market by looking at the history of bitcoin that how the same scenario keeps repeating and how same FUD discourages people from buying when price is clearly below bottom (under-priced).

I think it is about on how we acknowledge the outgrow of  bitcoin's value, as it has showing gradual pump that enlighten our mind to create our own deliberation on dealing the consequences. Due of high market volatilization, we can't determine what are the possible conclusion of its value, but I don't have any doubt that bitcoin will exceed approximately profitable. And I prefer to act proffesionally for every consequences may outcast.

Smart investors see it coming, only those who got burned earlier quit the market but it seems they are coming back right now.

Why would you sell at the current price? The price is increasing? I don't want to give financial advises though, sorry it really boils down as to how you gonna look at your investment in the long haul, just saying.

Oh,here we go again with the "should I buy or sell" type of posts on this sub-forum. Grin
Any time is the best time to buy bitcoin (because price bubbles happen frequently)and any time is the best time to sell bitcoin(because those price bubbles burst really fast, and you can sell and buy cheap btc later). You might not get it in the start, but eventually you will learn how to spot the right time to buy/sell.
It's all about practice.

It will a tough decision to make, advising someone without any assurance what market will turned, it will be a hard one for everybody, crossing $6k is a good indication to build more trust and to attract more investors to jumped in, it's better to work with your own observations and keep yourself positive so holding will build more confidence to wait for much higher position, keep learning from the current market movements.

For investors who now have a fiat, it will be better to buy, and for those investors who have entered Bitcoin, it is better to wait before the price of Bitcoin reaches a higher price. When the price is in the green zone, it will be possible to sell, take profits and wait for the price to come back a bit to go back into Bitcoin.

But for those who prefer long-term investments, the best option now is to buy Bitcoin and wait for the price they are willing to sell. It is possible that already this year the price of Bitcoin will be close to $20,000.

Bitcoin movement right now is increasing and I believe they have more chance to rise if you are observer to the value. I have bitcoins and I will not sell it to that value because the price will rise more so $6000 is not good price for selling.
Buying bitcoin is best time to buy . But if you are getting some profit and you are contented of what you get you can sell it.

There is no exact prediction here the price of bitcoin is unpredictable but for me, the price of bitcoin will stay long with 6k value and I think we will see the huge price increase after 4th quarter of this year around 7k to 8k.

If you want to sell them early you will never buy cheap bitcoins again so much better to hold them for a long time until next year or after block halving because the bear market is already done.

This is just my own prediction any the price movement can be change and I am just following the old price graph so if you are following the 2016 price movement well much better to follow it.

This depend on what is your target profit OP. If you are aiming for $100k Bitcoin then it is a good buy but if you are buying because you are being hyped,  I would say think again and study the market.  Better check what is your plan and what is your target exit price and reflect if you have the patience to wait for them.  Aside from that, if you have the luxury to wait years and will not get broke when the price crash.

you need to think like this:

When you buy bitcoin, what is your profit target? How long will you have patience to hold your coins?

The world of investments has its risks and because of this must be done planning and research before the person invest money.

For example if someone has $100,000 and buys bitcoin for the current price of $6250, but that person intends to hold for 5 years, even if days later the price of bitcoin fell to $3500... that person who bought  in $ 6000 he will not enter in panic because he knows that in 5 years the price will recover and he will have high profits

Selling some bitcoin he has will be a good decision, so he can wait for another down price to buy more bitcoin. But that is only if he bought bitcoin at a lower price or less than $6k. But if he doesn't buy any bitcoin, then I suggest him to wait for a while until he can see the red candle appear so he can get bitcoin at a low price. Don't use all of the money to buy in one-time buying but make for 3-5 buy order at any price so he can get the lower price.

Sure time will play its part but for a profit seeker it would a better idea to implant sale points like if it drop x amount in x time sale x %. It will save guard the fiat amount on a ongoing bearish period.

If you have bought in the $3000 levels then I can suggest you to cash out now or hold until it shows some signs of slowing down, otherwise buy and take it easy, don't do anything rash and try to hold on with what you have. Don't take the FOMO too seriously because you might see the price falling immediately in a blink of an eye. The foundation for this current bullish run is yet to be known, although the run seem to be strong enough to withstand selling pressure in waves (been seeing sell orders for quite a time now and it seems that they didn't stand a chance.)

If you badly want to cash out, then cash out the profits and keep your initial investment in Bitcoin. We're currently in a greed zone where people don't want to part with their coins, while before this run up people didn't dare to buy coins at the lower levels. Don't get caught in either of these.

It feels much better to benefit from both up and down directions than to wait for the price to keep going up, which might happen, but it could as easily start going down soon. In the end, you'll only miss that what you no longer have, so make sure you don't have to feel bad by not having cashed out profits.

Bitcoin has always been generous by offering another opportunity to buy back lower. I don't think we'll be seeing sub $4000 levels again, but sub $5000 is definitely not out of the question yet.

Better buy now and hodl but the decision still lies in you. Selling would always rely on how much you need it. Buying would rely on if you still want a good profit in the future or not. It's all up to you but all I can say is we must take advantage of every market situation rather than panicking.
