I also think is too early to say if indeed a bull run started, but even if a bull run will start, may take some time to get a grow for Ethereum, but i think is better to wait and maybe buy some coins, at least 30% of what you want before to buy.

You should calm down not only ETH but also other Altcoins will not increase when Bitcoin increases. Maybe people are selling too many Altcoins and switching to Bitcoin. We should wait further because Bitcoin price increases will affect the Altcoins.

For me, Ethereum would've been seen as threatened if only other large cap coins say Ripple was pumping at the same pace against Bitcoin, but since all them major ALTs were bleeding together, I believe Ethereum is still in a good position to maintain its second place and portray and appreciable price movements in the next days to come.

Mostly Ethereum was also increasing when bitcoin move up the price but now we noticed that Ethereum was in stagnant price while bitcoin was pushing up the price in the market. That's true BTC is on the rise while just small altcoins are on the move gradually, while I think now most people are giving more attention to BTC hence the reason ETH is staggering, but one thing is sure, ETH will grow likewise soon as the market is picking up gradually. Hopefully it will not dump as the same past months that happened in other crypto coins so we don't expect again that this bullrun will be a big issue again for traders.

The current price of ETH is equal to 172.16 US dollars which is a low market price so most of the investors will really like to invest now and perhaps most of them are now done with their investments. Because they see better results in the next Bull Run that is the reason it is a better preference over other less valuable coins. It is quite interesting only it will happen to investors and not to Ethereum because it all depends upon the size of investment.

You can't just conclude that ethereum will not rise. From what I see, it is rising gradually, and mind you, you don't just look at present value, also look at the use case which at any day, anytime the value will rise also it is one of the most used altcoin. I see an opportunity to hold more ethereum before the rise in value.

That could be a reason. The price just do not go up when people sell ETH rather than buying ETH. On the other hand, Bitcoin is being is huge demand and speculations in Bitcoin is at all time high right now due to the rise in the market value. But coming back to ETH, it will cross $200 soon for it made its way from $70 to more than $170 this time.

Bitcoin is pumping while the altcoins are not. This is probably because people are selling alts over btc.
This is quite expected. If anybody wanna buy altcoins like ether then now would be the best time to buy. 
The price of altcoins is dumping in btc but it will eventually increase in terms of $dollars since bitcoin is pumping in price.

Its happen not only on ethereum, happen to most altcoin because bitcoin price surging up. When bitcoin price start to stable, i am believe ethereum and others altcoin price will following bitcoin price, but we should careful before choosing altcoin we want to invest
