A few weeks ago Binance decided to stop with BCHSV.
You had one week to trade with the coin and 3 months to Withdrawal.

After a week I did a Withdrawal to the correct receiving address from my local stored Electrum wallet (v3.3.4 on a iMac)

According to Binance support the withdrawal is completed.

https://bchsvexplorer.com/tx/eeccfa9144566d95165db91eaaeb777094e7a3576f66ed22f1da7ecbc481bdc7

But until now I didn’t have received anything.

Can someone advice me what to do?

BCHSV is a Bitcoin Cash fork so you will not be able to send it to an Electrum wallet which is for Bitcoin only.
You probably need to use a Bitcoin Cash wallet like the Electron Cash. Import your seed into Electron Cash.

Or use this wallet *** I removed the link for safety reasons as Lucius stated that it could be a fake wallet.
Please note I have not tested the above wallet, so use it at your own risk.

Pmalek, on the official website all available wallets are listed, and link you posted is maybe fake / phishing site. As stated on the official website the only official download link for ElectrumSV is https://electrumsv.io/.

https://bitcoinsv.io/services/wallets-and-exchanges/

KCML, if you send BSV to Electrum BTC wallet, the way you'll get it back is to import private key of address where you send BSV to wallet mentioned above. To get private key from from Electrum just click on Addresses tab -> Right click on address -> Copy private key.

@Lucius A google search led me to that wallet, never tested it. That is why I wrote the warning in red.
I have edited the post now and removed the link if in fact it is a fake wallet.
Thanks for the warning!

Pmalek, there is a possibility that wallet you posted is coming from same team that created Electron Cash, but it's a small probability for it since there is no information about anything related to this coin. I try to search for that site by using keywords Electrum, Electron, BSV, but no results, at least on first page. It is possible that my adblock is blocking that site to be displayed in search results.

So Lucius, before I do anything wrong here..
1. I export the private key from my existing Electrum wallet.
2. I download the ElectrumSV wallet.
3. Install ElectrumSV

Which install type should I choose?
- Create a new seed
- I already have a seed
- Use public or private keys

After installation do I have to import this (exported) key into ElectrumSV?

Thank you so far!!

You can either import your wallet seed (which will import every address) by using the "I already have a seed" option or if you want to import just a specific private key, go with "Use public or private keys".

Before doing anything, make sure to download the wallet through the official website and *verify signatures* for more safety.
 Then import your wallet seed (It is best to write them in paper and check them instead of copying/pasting) from electrum BTC wallet (old wallet) into electrumsv (downloaded above.) "You can also "use private keys," but your coins have been sent to three addresses which mean you will import 3 private keys."

If you send BSV to only one address to Electrum BTC wallet, then only option you should use is "Use public or private keys". That private key will allow you to get access to BSV coin which was sent to that address.

What is not mentioned here is possible endangering security of Electrum BTC wallet because you are importing private key in some other wallet, which is not same as importing seed, but still my advice is to before importing private key in ElectrumSV send your BTC in new wallet. This step is only insurance for main wallet in case you download fake BSV wallet, so you will not lost BTC if your main wallet is empty.

Do you still have the correct receiving address as you mention in the OP where you sent BitcoinSV?

Post it here and let me check if the BitcoinSV is still there or use this http://www.findmycoins.ninja/ to check if your coins is there.

OP: try opening your Electrum wallet file directly into ElectrumSV instead of import the seed or private-key into a new wallet file.

Just click “Open”, go to %appdata%/Electrum/wallets and select your wallet file.

When I fill in the seed or keys the next button stays greyed out.

Is your Electrum BTC wallet maybe 2FA? In that case you need to use option "Wallet with two-factor authentication" for recovering with seed. In case your wallet is protected with 2FA then it is not possible to export / import such private keys in new wallet.

If your wallet is not 2FA, did you maybe use seed from some other wallet and import it to Electrum BTC? When importing such seed you need to click "Option" button after you enter seed and check "bip39".

It would be useful to read :

Yes I got it working thank to you guys!

During installation of ElectrumSV I used the last option "Import Bitcoin adres or private keys" I copied the Receiving adres from my Electrum BTC wallet and I now can see the "missing" coins.

When starting ElectrumSV I get a message "This wallet is watching-only. This means you will not be able to spend Bitcoin SV with it. Make sure you own the seed phrase or the private keys, before you request Bitcoin SV to be sent to the wallet."

You didn't succeed yet.

What you did is, you ust imported the (publicly available) addresses. You can only view the address. But you can not spend these coins.
Anyone could create such a watch-only wallet.

To be able to access / spend these coins, you either need to use your seed or the private keys.

my Electrum BTC is 2fa (password protected)
That is going to greatly complicate getting hold of your BitcoinSV.

An Electrum (BTC) 2FA wallet is a 2-of-3 "Multi-Sig" wallet... it is created using 3 different keys. You can get hold of 2 of them by using your 12 word seed mnemonic. However, the third is actually held by TrustedCoin. Only they have access to it, and they will likely not give it to you.

It's still possible that you might be able to recreate your wallet in ElectrumSV... if ElectrumSV allows creation of multisig wallets.

You would need your original Electrum BTC 2fa wallet 12 word seed mnemonic. If you restore a copy of that 2fa wallet using your 12 word seed mnemonic, and select "DISABLE" when asked if you want to keep or disable 2FA... and then DO NOT set a password on the wallet file so you can open the wallet file as plain text. Doing this will restore 2 xprvs and 1 xpub into your "disabled" 2fa wallet file.

Theoretically, using these 2 xprvs... and the xpub, you should be able to recreate a 2of3 multisig wallet that is a copy of your 2FA wallet... and will allow you to create and sign transactions from it.

I've done a quick dirty test with a test 2FA wallet in Electrum and recreated it in ElectrumSV and it appears to create identical addresses in ElectrumSV... so it should work.

my Electrum BTC is 2fa (password protected)

When I restore the Electrum BTC wallet (in wallet_1) and enter the seed it shows it's a 2fa seed. Next I disable the 2fa and not enter a password it still shows it's a 2fa wallet.

Yeah... that's correct, now you need to find the wallet file (http://docs.electrum.org/en/latest/faq.html#where-is-my-wallet-file-located) and open it in a text editor... at the end will be a section that has something similar to:
Quote
  "wallet_type": "2fa",
    "x1/": {
        "pw_hash_version": 1,
        "seed": "harvest ensure test voice oven story crater garbage spawn phone cause weird",
        "type": "bip32",
        "xprv": "xprv9uELvPiTpnhXw5PeLBThFc98p3VF6KiLdAyy1a8d9kERhShTfFqj9zVUc6g5myFoZnUBrAdYukt TVidpoeoxVYYG99urGzDeMNhHx3BMXdC",
        "xpub": "xpub68DhKuFMfAFq9ZU7SCzhck5sN5KjVnSBzPuZoxYEi5mQaF2cCo9yhnoxTPhRXQvWip4BWyRaUGi nvVr33Dj2SgQAT3axBBdDzTyBskVgXTJ"
    },
    "x2/": {
        "pw_hash_version": 1,
        "type": "bip32",
        "xprv": "xprv9uELvPiTpnhY1VPzNwmBCnNLuiez1L4JjSAYcdsT1hkyDbB3mhEZ7WTYP1hVLjoSYUbPX3znhZW p7692PfBxA8511k688fN3BYY4TMn5BaT",
        "xpub": "xpub68DhKuFMfAFqDyUTUyJBZvK5TkVUQnnA6f69R2H4a3Hx6PWCKEYofJn2EGNZdweXW591FxHdwhY 3syDbVmw6NJMev2drZUtEKMoYzDiYKqt"
    },
    "x3/": {
        "pw_hash_version": 1,
        "type": "bip32",
        "xprv": null,
        "xpub": "xpub661MyMwAqRbcGi6rn7XyNpt5eGaihvKZEqG4frwzcWHQE4NrbHYDDGChfmHdhcTjqZfX39kCGCa KrGCMsysi5V2YhqsH2cWPju4drPjdDk5"
    }

You need the xprv's from the x1/ and x2/ sections... and the xpub from the x3/ section as highlighted above. You then need to create a multisig wallet in ElectrumSV... using those co-signer keys in order... so co-signer1 = x1/ xprv... co-signer2 = x2/ xprv... co-signer3 = x3/ xpub

NOTE: do not publish your xprv's (or seed) anywhere! They're you're private keys!

YES!!!!!!!!! It works. Thank you SO MUCH! I don't get the message anymore that it is a watching-only wallet is.  Grin
