This is the correct sequence of commands.

Why doesn't it work ? Do you get any error message? If so, which ?
Also, which version are you using ?

A one-liner to send a transaction is:
Code:
electrum payto <bitcoin_address> <amount> | electrum broadcast -

You might try connecting to a different electrum server. Maybe its a problem with the server you are currently connected to.

When I tried it with a testnet wallet I got this:

Quote
{
    "complete": true,
    "final": false,
    "hex": "0200000001cb82ec8472ed20c673981b6e3a16412bdb2ed74e83e3de276cc682f899897be300000 0006a473044022049d847289909e34a48108227b7e758099597d8b5c76e14c5962e32f35719dcea 02201eba17af8474f3c197380f715d8576bf68da3285d2e13f402f9882a808bdbba901210336818 23e6685f066665bf4055f5e57fc31f5d7ac0cc41481c36d5c713c8d542efdffffff0240420f0000 0000001976a91404854d7d6026cb44cbe5c2383c2a51697eac54ba88ac5ece8800000000001976a 914dc75f929a516d15ba6a93c45f60ef029734cead888ac00000000"
}

Then you copy that hex code and broadcast it. For example in the above case I did a "electrum broadcast 0200000...000". That hex code is not the tx id. It's the signed raw transaction.

i don't understand what you mean. if you're asking what is the hex code in my post above then that's the signed raw transaction. it's the output of a payto command.

hi Yuri.

This is an English part of the forum. You may try to ask in your language's subforum too (Russian?) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=10.0

Electrum 3.2.3 does not connect to the correct servers. Please download latest Electrum from electrum.org and only from there.
The electrum 4.0 from your images is a FAKE electrum and will steal your money. I hope that you did not install the fake electrum 4.0....

>> payto ("34YHMpkWXXL8zg1J9gnNbtDey4oFszU45H", 0.0001)

request password  of wallet.
I used my password and got this

{
    "complete": true,
    "final": false,
    "hex": "020000........bc80800"
}

 after that I used broadcast command

>> broadcast ("020000...........bc80800")
"88a1d9d26ddb426c845ff9b876cee26389e6d5d4c3e886da83e1a0c2c915abe4"
>>
and my payment was completed

but when I use linux wallet version I get error
Should I add password to payto command?

http://joxi.ru/8An7opPtzx8y7r

You seem to be getting "complete: false" in your output on Linux, which would indicate the transaction has not been correctly signed.

Does the wallet on Linux actually have private keys and a positive balance? Or is it a watching only wallet?

What happens if you use the command: electrum listaddresses --funded

Xpub? Then you have created a watching only wallet on the Linux server. It contains no private keys. You will not be able to sign any transactions using that wallet.

If you want to sign transactions, then you need to either import the "xprv" or the 12 word seed when you create the wallet on Linux.

You need the 12 word seed mnemonic that was shown to you when you created the wallet on Windows. If you didn't write it down, use "Wallet -> Seed" menu item.

Then, if you are setting up the wallet on Linux using the commandline, you use the "restore" command line this:
Code:
electrum restore [THIS IS WHERE YOU NEED TO TYPE YOUR 12 WORD SEED MNEMONIC]

Otherwise, if you are using the GUI on Linux, then simply use "File -> New\Restore -> enter a wallet name -> Standard Wallet -> I already have a seed" and then type the 12 words in. It will recreate the same wallet as on Windows AND it will contain the private keys so you can use the "payto" command etc.
