In Pakistan defence they thought its 20-20 world cup 

Did not expect them to play so horribly though I knew that they might lose against a team like West Indies who are in great form in recent times. The manner in which West Indies systematically decimated Pakistan stunned me.

This is why I predicted that they won't go beyond the league phase in this edition of the World Cup. On the other hand, West Indies are playing like they are on fire currently. Will certainly be watching them closely.

I placed a bet against Pakistan. Pakistan to score under 329.5 runs. And picking this bet was based on this theory that the batting line of Pakistan sometimes collapse like a dominoes.

Where are you placing these bets of teams to score less or more than 300 Runs and you win /lose the bet. I guess this is easier to bet the total runs, less than 300 and keep on wining most of the bets.

Pakistan did not bat well, but why not also give credit to the West Indian team who really bowled well.   JO Holder and Oshane Thomas really made this game in favor of  West Indies.  Now its time for  Chris Gayle to put the nail in the coffin.

This is not new Pakistani batting line up done many time magic like this so I am feeling better as I have some faith with West Indies and they paid good its still many matches to go but now West Indies can do some more like this in next matches.

Against any other team I do not think this will be much easier for WI. After all this was a bad day for Pakistan and in these kind of days anyone will do good against Pakistan.

I think Superbru is miscalculating.

According to their scoring method, this should be an Easy category but seems like they awarded Vishnu the Merging Point which means they are considering it a Thrashing win. In a Thrashing category the team has to win by 9+ runs and 31+ balls remaining but WI won by 7 wickets having over 200 balls remaining which categorize in 6 - 8 wickets win or 19 to 30 balls remaining slot.

I am sure they will fix it soon.

Pakistan had a bad series right before the World Cup began, and I thought they would have learnt their lessons from it but this performance shows they have learnt nothing. West Indies looks really strong and if they continue like this, I feel they can claim one of the spots for the semifinal’s.

Today we have two matches , New Zealand take on Sri Lanka while Australia will play with Afghanistan. I am hoping to see a tight finish between New Zealand and Srilanka match while Australia should easily win unless Rashid Khan being some spectacular spin to surprise the Australians.

In order for Srilanka to cross 300 or more , they need to survive this early bowling spell by Henry and Boult. They should only bother to keep the wickets intact and do not care for the runs in the first 15 Overs. If the early bowling spell is survived without losing wickets, then they can go hard in the depth overs.

I think We will see heavy runs on this world cup because the pitch is good for batsman only.So, I will not surprise if 350 runs is chased by any team like Australia or Englan.SL team is not well experienced on this world cup.But they have Kusal Mendis, Perera, Mathews who can turn the match.So, I believe SL still can put a heavy total on the board and defeat NZ.

Pakistan and Srilanka both are performing poorly, English pitch isn't a resistance I guess. India will not suffer much while Bangladesh also have the chance of playing better.
