How pathetic. 63 for 6. This is very poor playing. I didn't thik they would play such poor innings.

so far 2 subcontinent teams struggling in English pitch lets see how Afganistan, Bangladesh and India tackles this situation.

Pakistan and Srilanka both are performing poorly, English pitch isn't a resistance I guess. India will not suffer much while Bangladesh also have the chance of playing better.

SL and Pakistan both Asian team and almost in similar position as considering they are 84/6 . Also India in practice match got all out easily against NZ. So considering this Asian team taking World Cup is quite far unless they play splendid cricket to beat the opposition as condition might not favor them.

Indian batting lineup is far better than SL, Pakistan or any other Asian team. There are almost 4-5 match winners in Indian team who can alone take match to 270-280 even after quick fall of 2-3 wickets. We can't draw any results from practice matches. India usually have bad record against NZ in World Cups. However I am sure things will get better in coming matches. Else, England pitches are quite well for batsmen at the moment, all teams need to do is to maintain the tempo and contribute to the total as a single force like England did in their first match and can easily go past 300.

Anyway, looks like New Zealand are going to trash Sri Lanka. To response only 136 runs they have already scored 101 runs without losing any wickets.

What a win for NZ with 10 wickets and played the T20 match in 50 overs WC. This has being a great start after practice match and winning the start of the match with comprehensive win against SL. This will boost the NZ team and its players to play with upcoming matches.

I chose the "thrashing" option because I thought that those matches would be one-sided. Not because I clicked them for fun. For the Afghanistan vs Australia match, I chose the "Easy victory" option in favor of Australia. Let's see how that works out. BTW, I again chose "thrashing" option for the next two matches (SA vs BAN, and ENG vs PAK).

Weird indeed. They have not adapted the conditions and their recent form before the World Cup has been horrendous which is why I am not surprised with these results. On the other hand, India might be the only sub-continent team to go forward.

Afghanistan also struggling against Australia and will lose by big margin. I think the three Asian teams, (Pakistan / Afghanistan / Srilanka /Bangladesh) are not in good form and are considered weak teams for this world.  India, on the other hand is favorite to win the world cup along with England and Australia.
So i think India will perform much better then the rest of the Asian teams.

Australia still need 50 runs, and I hope that they'll not lose any more wickets now. These matches were relatively easy to predict. Teams such as Pakistan and Sri Lanka have gone down a lot during the past few years. The Round 2 is going to be more challenging. We have matches such as AFG vs SL and AUS vs WI, which are tough to predict IMO.

I am trying to use my Cricket and betting experience at their best. I must say I am enjoying this tournament too much. I firmly believe it is going to be a long roller-coaster ride as we have 5-6 strong contenders for winning World Cup this year. The biggest surprise is New Zealand, NZ team was so underrated before the start of the tournament but now I  believe NZ is surely going in Semis.
Let's see how this Prediction Pool going to advance, I believe positions will change very much after next few matches.
