So it looks like Facebook is once again changing their policies on crypto currencies (https://tipestry.com/topics/5cd562f5d774147570d8c561/facebook-rolls-back-its-policy-barring-cryptocurrency-ads). Is this good or bad for the community? I think in a way, it's good because it will shed light on garbage projects and bring investors to ones that actually deserve investments. What do you guys think?

I think its good for crypto industry. Ads makes people know about cryptocurrency or new project and i think cryptocurrency can be an alternative investment. Cryptocurrency industry growing more bigger and i think facebook wont miss the opportunity to take advantages by put an ads on their platform

It's a good one for me, so people can see crypto ads on facebook and more people will know and maybe interest to check that crypto ads. It's funny though, back then facebook was banned crypto ads but today facebook open and accept crypto ads. Maybe it's because facebook want to make their own crypto? lol.

Facebook has its own policy and i think everyone should respect that. As i can see it today banning of crypto Ads has no significant or direct effect on the crypto industry  when we consider it as a whole. Since there are plenty of methods and alternatives that anyone can tap for Advertising purposes involving cryptocurrency.

In my country, there are now no restrictions on Crypto ads because the government has supported it. This is very good news for all Crypto fans and will certainly have a positive impact on Crypto. The prohibition on advertising through social media like Facebook does not have a significant impact. And I think there is still a lot of social media that wants to advertise Crypto.

This news is very positive because FB reopened cryptocurrency advertisements to promote advertising globally, maybe the reason is that FB soon released a blockchain or indeed the cryptocurrency market is now starting to be believed again as an investment

I think is a good thing that let ads for crypto again, and on this way more people can see and more people will join the crypto world and this will help in long time to have a good market and maybe will not happen like on 2018 again.

This will result something good to crypto, and we are actually seeing it because the bull run has already started.
Facebook ban resulted big decline of the market, and it's reverse now resulted to a positive market,
we should expect more and this news is vital for this year's successful crypto recovery.

I've seen a good recover of the altcoins already, I am not watching the altcoins lately as they could also explode.

Very interesting. I see some advantages in this. Because now the real projects will come to the blockchain market, which will not be made from yesterday's ordinary people and today they want to change the world - i'm talking about skam projects.

In my opinion, the project and team that will be advertised on Facebook after 5/06/2019 for me to be more confidence in seriousness of their intentions to change the world.

I am waiting for a boom on the ICO/STO/IEO market.

Facebook is a huge platform with huge traffic and at this point where we are aiming for mass adoption, any publicity is good publicity. It only matters that people know the existence of cryptocurrency after that, they could decide if they are against it or embrace it.

It's a good news of course and also not good , because there are Still lots of people that has not know more about cryptocurrency,  the ads will link them to know more and it will help projects in promoting their project also the MLM scheme might be more rampant because scammers might wanna trick those who don't know more about crypto into their ponzi scheme

For me is a very good news, Facebook displaying ads about cryptocurrency is a very good sign crypto is now been accepted by big companies who as once called crypto scam, and if it continues like this, many people will surely get to know more about crypto through Facebook.

that website doesn't look like the most reliable source of information!
but if it is true and not a clickbait then i'd say it is a very bad thing because those ads have never been used to advertise actual projects. instead they were only used to advertise scams such as ICOs to a large group of unfamiliar people who had no idea what they are seeing.

They probably should just restrict the advertisement to people who are familiar with cryptocurrency. or interested in it.  They could be more selectively with the kind of project they allow, especially the meaningful ones. I see no reason for a  total ban on cryptocurrency advertisement.

It is good and it is a sign that they have seen the reason why they need not to be hostile to cryptocurrency again. I even heard that Facebook are working towards integrating crypto into their ecosystem and this means if you can't beat them, you just have to join them.

If Facebook did a good check, it would be great, if there was no advertising for scam projects, they spoil the reputation of the crypto world.

Refer to the price movement of cryptocurrencies  after facebook revoke their regulation again cryptocurrency ads I'll it is good and we can see now the prices cryptocurrencies has been rising quickly. I can't imagine this movement price happened after I too often to see the price went down continously few months ago. I hope this information will be consider also by some companies who before ragulate cryptocurrency or at least they revealing their statement again cryptocurrency. For the thing that they use it or not I can say it's not important but the most important thing is the they have known about cryptocurrency and its function.

I support it, of course, this is very good, the crypto industry is starting to reach a wider audience, and this is a good start, with such new advertising resources, crypto will start rapid progress all over the world, I think that this is only the beginning, other social resources will also catch up this initiative, crypto is a future one, and we see with you how the story is going

i think it is a positive thing that facebook reopen to crypto so we could see the crypto related ads again and the ico will be able to reach millions of potential investors through this social, and i believe that it(facebook) will actively participate in the development of new blockchain applications...

Hmm. I did not understand why Facebook is so inconsistent about crypto ads.
Anyway, this is a piece of good news if Facebook is rolling back the crypto ads. Obviously, this can increase the electability of crypto or even crypto industry.
