I wont say that I totally agree with you but its true that those who lost money by panic selling will be envious of the others gains. But this is life and this is the life lessons of how to survive in this market against odds. Panic selling and FUD will be there and you have to handle it. You can prevent being in panic by putting money into coins that you are very confident about, by not going all in with your salary money - basically yolo.

These things seem basic but they are the basis of making money. One needs to have discipline and determination to be able to make money and to some extent, luck.

I LOL, I care mate, I have been engaged in this type of strategy for a while now since I started studying the movement of BTC, and I think it is lot more profitable when you sell at high and buy back at dip. You can do the calculation yourself.

It was actually a sarcasm to point out the stubborn nature of some traders who never sell at any point but keep on holding through bull runs.

I will build it higher than that before the next bull run, but I don’t advise everyone to do that because it is lot riskier.

Obviously few people have actually been able to go through that cruise and end up with a profit but it is one of the best. I wont say its risky, but a logical one. Risk is there in any trading. But what you can also do is when prices seem to move in the same direction, try to make multiple buy/sells. Track one order to another opposite side order for the future. That way you would not be losing out on a certain market movement. But it can become frustrating to keep track of all the trades.

Those few people were the guys who had been able to own huge number of coins when the market price was the lowest. That was a kind of test market when no one or very low amount of people had belief in Bitcoin and knew that it is something that will pay off in future. Even right now, you can have some good amount of coins when the market is bearish again.

You may think that is true, but the truth actually is that nobody bought coins at lows. They all bought when it started going up. This is fact, place yourself in that position and you would also do the same. The difference is those who bought even early became early investors who would be ready to dump after the first pump.

That was a kind of test market when no one or very low amount of people had belief in Bitcoin and knew that it is something that will pay off in future. Even right now, you can have some good amount of coins when the market is bearish again.

Its still a test market if you think relatively in terms of how much whales can put in to move the market. They are the reason why market move and they have to keep on doing that unless the market becomes boring for them.

This is true in most aspect of your life, most people are short term thinkers and they do not think throughly the consequence of their actions, this is best exemplified by all of those people that bought bitcoin when the market was at the top thinking only on the easy money they will make and as soon as things did not go according to their expectations they did not knew what to do, while those that bought bitcoin for cheap and were thinking about the long term could take any decision they wanted and get profits in the process thanks to their long term thinking.

Each trader have their own strategy, having their own targets and also have a level of risk that they must choose before starting a trade under any market conditions. So, it will be their liberties when being a panic seller or a clear panic buyer their goal is profit, I agree with you. Long term holding is already use by the investors in stock market long before cryptocurrency came into existence. Warren Buffet is one of the famous example that use long term holding in the stock market but no one called him greedy because that is his strategy of earning profits. In cryptocurrency, same strategy is used by many crypto investors and many of them has alraedy proven its effectiveness in bitcoin.

It is not everyone that takes profit shortly are greedy people or shallow thinkers, infact to me, they are smart players and that was how those types of people were able to outsmart some of us when bitcoin was growing high in the last Bull run.The moment their coin increased to a satisfactory level, they all sold their coin while some of us were too greedy and waiting for bitcoin to make us money that we ought to make in 10 years in a day, and that is why you see some of us until now still regretting when we ought to before the market crashed.

It was this same greed that made me lose $50000 in the last altcoins ATH, when I didn’t take profit when I was supposed to, waiting for it to turn to millions for me, but now, where are those coins, they have all turned zero value now. We just have to apply smartness in everything.

It is not a bad idea to make profit and exit the market but they will regret their decision later for quiting their career of crypto trading too early.

Still crypto market is in early adoption so there is high chance of it will get much more expensive than current prices so if we are doing until we get much familiar so we can make more profits than the new traders.

There are so many opinions out there that are not really with very good motives, some are there to just mislead people purposely, so it is not every opinion that people should pay attention to. The best opinion ever is one’s personal opinion, we need to hold on strongly to whatever we believe.

if greed occurs and prices change direction, of course psychological pressure will be greater, so sometimes people will become traumatized for trading. therefore accustoming discipline to the target must be instilled from the start entering the world of trading

Patience would mostly pays-off in the end but not all the times because there still some disadvantage on waiting too much.
Some might really just forget into their holdings and when it bull run and reaching new ATH then that's the time they do remember out.

Not all but I'm sure that there are people who are into this kind of situation.

Waiting for too long can definitely be a disadvantage but if you hold long enough then it is also possible that you are mostly unaffected by the movements of bitcoin, take for example all of the long term holders that bought at 1000 and did not sold during the 2017 bubble, even when the market reached a price of 3500 they were still getting 250% in profits and now a few months after that they have 800% in profits, so it is likely that from now on it will be impossible for them to get any losses and that only makes them to want to hold their coins until they reach whatever target price they have in mind.
