I've found a project named AfriHealth which offers HealthCare Services in Africa itself. Considering the fact that Africa is not the most well developed nor well-equipped country with regards to health care, I've gotta admit that the project is quite well done. It tackled one of the problems that Africa currently needs to be resolved in. It offers an application named Rigour+ which helps most of the Africans obtain health benefits and immediate response towards medical emergencies. It also aims to partake in the development of medical facilities and overall improvement of healthcare towards the whole African continent. As a country that offers its Health Insurance to less than a fourth of its population, this project is quite a huge step towards its development don't you think?

Just looking at the website, the projects seems to be attractive. Is this also planning to do its crowdsale in an exchange or IEO? Healthcare is an area which the blockchain can do many things and with a good team behind a good project can be a blessing to many of its supporters and believers.

"Afrihealth is aiming to be the complete healthcare in one click: Availing best-in-class healthcare was never so easy. With AfriHealth, embrace the future of healthcare today. From buying health insurance to ordering medicines or seeking emergency support, everything is under your fingertip."

And with that statement, AfriHealth can set the new standard in healthcare ailment for many millions just waiting on the fringe for the healthcare services they all deserve. Now, is the project going to be present in all African countries?

Yes, the project will be present in all African Countries and to their people as well. Their aim is to provide
investors with superior returns on their investment as well derive substantial benefits for the
people of Africa with regard to a robust healthcare system. Moreover, creating a unique medical application which enables the use of blockchain technology can reach the citizen of African Continent and the world easily.

Blockchain for health doesn't require any new coins imo. They can either pay people to run a node for them with monthly payment, and aim for seed funding/equity funding. Their token will eventually be useless if their first purpose is to get enough funding.

Lack of a blockchain??

I'm sick of everyone throwing around "blockchain" when they have no idea what it is.

I post for interest - not signature spam.

Health care is a loose term and can not be fired on a project. If this is the goal of the project, it is an exploitation of that word, but I do not think that such a project will be implemented on this ground in addition to many contradictory things:

 - Many developers do not have an African background: Unlike the founder, most of the team has nothing to do with Africa or even prove it has anything to do with the project.
 - Company Location: Search using maps and I can not find a real address.

I do not recommend anyone to invest in this project.

I don't really see what's so special about this. I mean, why do the funding through an ICO and not just seek institutional investors?
When you look at their roadmap, all they have is a proof of concept. Where's the proof that they already have a working prototype?

They just mention that "development began". What does that even mean? Could very well be 5 lines of code written...

Can someone explain to me how a database designed for maintaining data in environment where participants don't trust each other has any relation with health care? Like, patients put their lives in hands of doctors, but can't trust with medical records or what? And why are medical records are such a big deal, and if it is indeed a big deal, how exactly blockchain is going to change anything?
There's so many hard questions that we should be asking, yet no one is answering them, instead we have snake oil salesmen spewing buzzwords and creating myths how blockchain is going to revolutionize yet another industry.

I think this is great, given that Africa is one of the most needing country in the world through blockchain technology we can see how well it could help, how possible it can reach the people even to the most primitive place like Africa , through AfriHealth it is possible already to buy your medicine online, to look for a specialist to have a consultation near in your area, and you don't have to stop for every hospital just to seek help and this is indeed helpful specially in case of emergency. Our health is something we couldn't buy or renew, having this kind of project made possible by Blockchain technology is something that we should support.

Thank you a lot! I think it is a very interesting thread and the services are cool too. I like how blockchain helps people with different problems. I also like some online pharmacies like Canadian Pharmacy, for example. And I would like to use some crypto pharmacies too. What do you think?
