I think binance still has a top tiers exchange in terms of many alts that you can choose, liquidity, good support, etc.

My suggestion is just stick on binance, because you already know the exchange yourself, you know about kyc and many other things? They will be back soon I think. Just don't fomo.

If you realy want to speculate on cryptocurrencies then the easiest and safest way for you would be not to trade cryptocurrencies lol.
It doesn't really matter on which market you are trading you can easily trade on forex, set e higher leverage and get more money if you want to risk. In that case there is no significant difference between crypto and fiat.
At the same time altcoins mostly are in deep shit so there is not much sense in hodling.

I am not using binance in my trading but if i am not wrong binance will resume again to normal after the hacked problem, but if you looking for another exchange for your trading job I recommend go to the google to find crypto exchange platform.

You are late maybe because Bitcoin has rise up already by more than 100% compare to its price last February but if you want to buy Bitcoin and hold it then anytime is a good time to buy. I've been away from the forum for the past few months because of some projects that needs full attention. I've never even opened or read any news about bitcoin's performance for the past few months until I bumped a very good friend of mine and told me that bitcoins on the bull. So I checked online and seen some good greens and was very much excited to get back into trading.

I've already lost track of the current events regarding crypto so I need to catch up and get back to the forum again to gain some vital information.

I just found out that the only trading platform I used to trade got hacked. (Binance)

I really wanted to play part of the bull runs and wanted to earn profit so I'd like to ask for your help and suggestions on what trading platforms I may use as of the moment

Even though Binance was hacked, your funds are safe. Soon Binance would start to let you trade than after sometime to withdraw them. The bull is not going to die today. You'd have plenty of time to enjoy the bull.

Binance will remove restrictions on depositing and withdrawing of funds in this week as per update from them. Bitcoin is already in good form, I would suggest you to divide your investment. Buy some BTC at current price and wait for sometime if some correction happens buy more. Bitcoin is a long term investment, set up a good target and close some position there and let the remaining position run with locked profit.

Correct. Binance have been hacked but all funds are SAFU. Investors didn't lose any money and CZ was able to recover the funds in full. Just withdrawals were frozen for 1 week. I don't think it's too late to join the bull. I would wait for the dips. It Seems like the market makers were accumulating since 3K and now they start to follow a plan. In my opinion, It's just the beginning of the plan.

All users who have lost bitcoin due to the recent Binance hacking will be compensated as to their announcement. Unfortunately, since bitcoin's nature is primarily exist on the internet, hacking is inevitable.

I think you are quite late mate, if you just go back in a few days ago, of course you could have made a big profit now. at this time we don't know how long prices will continue to rise? if there are still many people like you, haven't returned to join and buy yet, maybe prices will continue to rise. if you find a correction or a decrease in price, then it's your chance to buy and maybe your chance to play a part in the bull run, keep your eye in the market.

For exchange sites, forget it about Binance, look for another exchange. there are still many secure and trusted exchange sites like Bittrex, Huobi, Kucoin, or Poloniex.

I think you can still use Binance for your trading. Yes, it was hacked and it's recovered by Binance and it's working fine now. So, there is no problem to use Binance. On the other hand, you may use Kucoin. I like kucoin exchange for my trading. Now your choice.
