I've been away from the forum for the past few months because of some projects that needs full attention. I've never even opened or read any news about bitcoin's performance for the past few months until I bumped a very good friend of mine and told me that bitcoins on the bull. So I checked online and seen some good greens and was very much excited to get back into trading.

I've already lost track of the current events regarding crypto so I need to catch up and get back to the forum again to gain some vital information.

I just found out that the only trading platform I used to trade got hacked. (Binance)

I really wanted to play part of the bull runs and wanted to earn profit so I'd like to ask for your help and suggestions on what trading platforms I may use as of the moment

If you eant to trade it using Fiat currency and has to check best local exchange in your countries local board . After Binance as far i found Kucoin is good , Okex is also quite good , BIbox another new exchange with ldecent trade volume . I am using Kucoin i feel good in this platform .

Aside from the hack and some accusation about Binance being shady exchange due to manipulation of trades and IEO sales, I still believe when it comes to customers funds, it is still safe to use it. In the recent hack, they showcased how the fund is protected by their SAFU.  It is a big plus to use the exchange since there is an insurance on your deposited items.  

About Bitcoin, the bull isn't unleashed in full force yet.  You maybe a bit late since you did not catched up BTC in its accumulation stage, but bull market is just beginning.  There is a lot of good news about BTC.  Aside from the good news such as Ebay and cryptocurrency, Starbucks accepting BTC, the Bakkt futures which is about to be tested, there is some news about the a tariff being implemented on several Chinese goods in the USA which can trigger inflation and would push wholesaler and other industry to adopt Bitcoin as mode of their payment.

Kucoin is a very good alternative trading exchange besides binance. So far Kucoin does not have a trace of bad events such as hacking on binance, users also feel comfortable. I think this is the right exchange for you to welcome a bull run.

Not too late to catch up, bitcoin has improved and continues to increase in value, and in the near future bitcoin will break the price of 10k.

Yes bull run is not stopped yet. I believe we can see the 10k USD for sure in coming months.

We need to hodl the coins for at least 2 months and see what the changes in the market and how it goes in price chart.

As far as I know Binance is playing to reopen trading today, not sure if they haven't done that yet. They've been hacked but this doesn't mean they shouldn't be trusted anymore since they are working on it and they know they've made a mistake and that will not repeat again. If you are still looking for another platform to use for trading then Bittrex would probably be one of your best options right now, along with Poloniex or Kucoin.

The price of bitcoin indeed grow fast, but what will happen if the price drop again, this is the question and maybe if drop and buy now at 8000$ will be need a gain a lot of time to make a good profit. Binance trade was open again today, but what will happen if hackers try to dump bitcoin?

i am not sure if they really got hacked or it was just a drama. we have seen those type of drama before i will not be surprised if it was one too. still, it's good as the bull still there in the market and people are riding it.

you only was little active here in the forum for only 3 months and within those 3 months not much has changed, only the price that has increased from $3100 to $8000, so you have not lost anything in those 3 months. so that you can update on things, you can read the comments from here in the forum

i am not sure if they really got hacked or it was just a drama. we have seen those type of drama before i will not be surprised if it was one too. still, it's good as the bull still there in the market and people are riding it.

I think the drama hacked will not have a big effect starting this year, the value of bitcoin is more able to maintain it than some negative news manipulated by most popular media.

Maybe there's a possible price drop, but it won't be that much because more positive mindset people nowadays will grab the opportunity while price slightly declined. The $8k benchmark will remain stable for a moment, and as everyone hope for riding the bull is always possible to happen. I expect more suppression on panic holders, and many incoming new holders will remain stronger on their faith in order to avoid any circumstances behind what had happened to binance. Hopefully they'll overcome any possible negative speculations, despite of the raging problems that arises so far.

People are still talking about that subject but it seems that they start to forget it slowly. This was definitely a big hack that affected lots of people but there have been bigger hacks than this, for example Mt.Gox which lost bitcoin worth $350 million and if people could forget about that they can surely forget and move past this. Also, there still time to see if Binance can somehow recover that money since only a short time passed from the moment it happened.

You are quite late, but still, Binance hacked was the bad news especially for the Binance traders and at this time when Bitcoin bull is in full form almost after eight months and targeting to overtake $8k 

We already succeed on this and the binance hacked doesn’t make the investors doubt on the market. The bull is not yet complete we can still ride on this one, imagine if you bought bitcoin on level of $8k and the big pump happens up to $20k again, big profit will come to you.

Just head over to CMC and select an exchange with most volumes, with binance hack, the next big exchange will be bittrex and kraken, there might be other country specific exchanges with huge volumes but i really have my questions regarding those volumes that is being shown, riding the rally is a good aspect, but make sure you enter when the market is in a correction phase to enter rather than planning to enter the bull, we are not even in a bull phase but the market is recovering which is a good sign for long term investors.

Regardless of the bull run that is progressing now, I believe you have also heard about projects now going for IEO (initial Exchange offering)which is the way forward for projects who are willing to promote their products and as well getting the community to fully support them.
