This is huge, a lot of companies are starting to adapt cryptocurrency in their business payment method. This will affect the market demand of crypto in a good way, not to mention this can also be a good way of publicity that can push other businesses to accept crypto as well.

As I remember Wholefoods was bought by Amazon, so it is not its daughter.
But anyway, this is a great step forward. And Amazon is an undoubtful leader in this kind of innovations with their shops without store clerks.
Such things don't tell us why we should use cryptocurrencies but it helps HODLers to spend their coins without selling it and losing time and money on fees.

They won't accept cryptos (directly), they will use a 3rd party which itself use cryptos (Flexa). When the company will manage everything itself (their own wallets, payment system, etc) I would say YES they do accept cryptos as currencies. Currently you can say, they accept Flexa (but not cryptos)
