I know once you are scammed and robbed,its hard to reverse the Bitcoin Transaction ! But any of you were ever scammed and were returned your bitcoins by the scammers ! This is not a great topic but was curious if there is a Robinhood in the scammers ! Guys I meant scammers,few mine bitcoins few use their hard earned moeny to buy bitcoins,please dont grab away from the innocent souls !!

It's not just hard to reverse, it is impossible. And why would a scammer return your funds? A scammer is a scammer because of their greed, no amount of sympathy will push him to return those funds. This is a stupid topic btw. Blockchain is made to be irreversible, so use your head before making any move to avoid being scammed.

You hear of single mothers being jailed for stealing £10 worth of pants from a shop. If you steal £100 million through the internet no one can really be bothered to pursue it.

The Internet is a perfect tool for criminals who want to get free money, and you do not have to worry too much that you will be caught. Cryptocurrency is in this regard, a perfect target for criminals who instead of banks robbery today only need to have PC+Internet and some skills. I can not say whether this is about the failure of the official authorities to fight with this problem, or Internet is still a wild west where person can do whatever he wants, and if he is smart enough, in most cases nobody will punish him.

I know few cases where hacked / losted coins are returned to owners. Member of this forum return significant amount of BTC related to bug in some wallets.

Unfortunately no, Those scammers or hackers intent to scam you or me will never give back, If they had good intent they wouldn't do it in the first place. Hackers are the worst though, They have such talent but they waste it on doing bad things, They could make so much more by doing legit things and be proud and happy about it.

It's a mean world out here. Everybody is out for money. Some do it ethically while some not. Once the money is out of our hands it's never coming back to us.
Never expect scammers to be so grateful because then they wouldn't scam you in the first place. Even the ICOs don't give your money back when they scam you why would scammers will.
Even Amazon has stopped giving refunds for many products and the only option is to replace the product purchased though you can get refund by asking to customer care but you get my point right.

Most crypto thieves are harden criminals.. A harden criminal/scammer will likely not return back what he has stolen.
The only case where you may get your funds returned to you is if they were sent by mistake to the address of honest recipient that you know and can easily contact.

Scammer never return back your bitcoin. They will continue to stolen again your pocket and watching you  everywhere. Scamer can diversion transction for visible good for everyone.

Sad thing is that I have experienced being scammed not just once but I think 5 times? Yes I am really a fool but  you can't blame me for doing such because I have been make believed on a really great offer and have considered it as a good opportunity to be taken but sadly it is another way around. I have not been able to recover any single cent of my Bitcoin from the person I have entrusted my Bitcoins that is why I am so regretful and have made myself a promise not to believe on other people again when it comes to my Bitcoin. The sadder thing is that by that time, Bitcoin price value have gone into a downfall seems to be a double hit for me so it makes me sadder and more regretful. Moral lesson is not to believe on other people nor be deceived into such offerings. Better assure the credibility and reliability before getting engage into such.

I've heard some cases of honest people giving back bitcoins that had a weak brain wallet or from users that mistakenly set some coins to a wrong address.  Those situations are rare and most people are greedy and you will not have any chance to recover stolen coins.

Logically, it cannot happen. I have never red anything about a scammer returning the funds. And the topic is not about being sure that it won't happen. He's asking if scammers ever return those funds.

It will take too much effort to ever try to get that bitcoin back, I simply give up!
Think about mt gox how much efforts have been taken for the users to bring this fraud into the news, and how long does it take to even recover some money out of it, I think all of them have already gave up getting it back, only the guy who has power to life threatening the exchange could get some back.

That's the nature of scammers. They will be satisfied once they have steal already the hard earned bitcoins of other people. And there's no way that those stolen bitcoins will be ever returned because it's now safe on the wallets of scammers. So if possible, be very careful with your hard earned bitcoins not to be scammed by anybody else.

Scammers will never give it back to you, in the first place, they have their own will to steal or scam some bitcoins to other people. What's the point of their hard work to scam some people then giving back it again?
That's why there's a lot of scammers/hackers in cryptocurrency since most of the transaction are irreversible and it's so difficult to track every user's identity.

nah, it is almost impossible for the hacker or the one stole the BTC to return it in good faith. It is also hard to detect the culprit of stealing BTC because of anonymity. But the transaction could still.be done even if the absence of KYC still block chain could prove it.

Now, does stolen bitcoin really be returned?

No way, hacker needs it and why does he return it? In the first place he had stolen it so why it will be return?
