It's impossible, since ethereum has no exact development until today and Bitcoin always has either bad or good news, that means Bitcoin always has a chance whether to get pumped or dumped. If there is a bull run in next few months, it's a Bitcoin time to head halving event in the next year, while ethereum will get its halving next few years (I don't remember).

Do you think ETH may outperform BTC in the next bull run?

No. I don't think ETH would outperform BTC on the next bull run as crypto still is the synonym of Bitcoin for more than 50% of crypto investors.
The adoption of alts are increasing but not as rapidly as the price fluctuation and lurcative chances of profit of Bitcoin investment.
At the moment ETH seem to have gaining better growth but in a larger picture, BTC has gained more marketcap increase than ETH for this week.

Do you think ETH may outperform BTC in the next bull run?

There are several reasons while Ethereum is not a viable competitor to Bitcoin.
Firstly they differ in nature and objective.
Ethereum to date has an undefined supply. They are still in development and their large price rise would bring more problems that solutions.
But when Ethereum is ready, it would certainly outperform Bitcoin one day.

I can't say we'd ever have a bull run or not but what's sure is Ethereum is going to be a larger market cap coin than Bitcoin. It could take 5 years or 10 but long term Ethereum hodlers would make more money than ling term Bitcoin hodlers.

It can be said that the price of eth and bitcoin raises so much so that bulls will now be so good news to coinmarket altcoins because somehow the prices of altcoins in the coinmarket have increased slightly so other investors started buying altcoins with potential and longterm so that they would have a bigger profit in buying cheap and holding altcoins but could tell if bigger losses were made by holders.

probably not, but I will not certain and not surprised eventually.
if you see max. value of ETH (1200 USD) today 230 USD.
Bitcoin max value (18000USD) today 8000 usd .........

I think that this is the main factor of the bitcoin leading. And it has the opposite effect. Those who understand the technical advantages of altcoins will still have to choose Bitcoin as their main investment asset. Since everyone starts with BTC, most of the money is in BTC, and this will continue for a long time.

No. How can it out perform when the price of ETH is way below BTC, apples and oranges here. If you want to compare ETH then it should be other altcoins and not BTC because they are totally different and investors are more into BTC, sorry to burst the bubble for you.

You just have to look at the dominance and see if Ethereum or any other altcoins can slice that big lead by bitcoin. So obviously the answer is no. Ethereum and XRP or Bitcoin Cash have attempted to overtake bitcoin in the past, but they are not successful because the community still put their money in the bitcoin ecosystem.

And supply and demand dude, bitcoin is just limited to 21 million.  Grin, that makes it the best asset right now.

just read a good reasonable reason why ethereum will not overtake bitcoin
and people should remember if ethereum will never exist, if bitcoin never born in this world  Wink
so, bitcoin will always become the king of cryptocurrencies

I don't think that is possible because ETH has begun to lose interest.
Bitcoin will still be the king of coins.

no and no, BTC is the forerunner of altcoins including ETH and the position of both is very far. BTC has 21 million supplies and ETH is unlimited, this can fix you in thinking further, supply and demand of these two coins are very different.

No, the BTC is the father of everything Smiley And besides it will arrive an hour that the total supply of the BTC will be reached, then in that point the bitcoin will be gold;) already the ETH with that amount of currencies unlimited, hardly will approach the BTC

Do you think ETH may outperform BTC in the next bull run?

It can bacause ETH has the more increase now compared to bitcoin. My investments grow consecutively for the week on my ETH wallet rather than Bitcoin who has increase a bit and rest a bit movement. I am now starting to think that the bull run now is for ETH. Lets observe a bit more.

Another question that has been asked before for so many times.

Can we just admit it that ethereum will never outperform, dethrone and replace the king, bitcoin? IMO, it is pointless to discuss with this kind of topic anymore.

This is possible, bitcoin is growing rapidly and it is leveling off, so the next increase in ethereum will outperform bitcoin. However the main trend of the market is to follow bitcoin, so in the long term we should consider the behavior of bitcoin primarily. I will still invest bitcoin in this phase primarily, I think bitcoin will grow stronger than any other altcoin.

No way, BTC will perform the most because whenever btc increase/get pumped,  altcoin price also get pumped but in term of btc, it decrease. So, when btc get crashed, altcoin too get crashed, as a result, alt suffer the most.

Bitcoin is indeed very interesting, but now ethereum has begun to show its existence. ethereum prices have increased and even now the price is in the range of 230usd. this is a remarkable achievement because the increase that occurs can be said to be in a significant range.
