Here is the ANN of OMNIS-BIT
I have reported a bunch of posts lately, but they keep posting like hell. There are already 126 good reports and a few more awaiting.
I requested the thread to be taken down but still no change.. Sad

There is even a virus accusation in the wallet >

WARNING: SCAM PROJECT

DO NOT OPEN PROJECT WEBSITE.

Contains Trojan virus software that will mine Monero on your computer without your permission.

What to do guys?? I don't need such source of good reports, it doesn't help the forum and wasting my time.

Report the thread and OP for spreading links to malwares. If you can prove it, OP account will get banned and you won't have to worry about reporting his posts again.

6. No linking to phishing or malware, without a warning and a valid reason.

I guess thread can be trashed and OP of thread can be banned because they are giving link to malicious site. (assuming nutildah warning is correct.)

I just recently saw that their wallet contain virus. It was posted today, now it's easy to report it based on the rule #6, but for using the bumping bot again, no reaction.
My request to trash the ANN was marked as good but the ANN is still there. I think such threads should be locked at least until the situation is cleared.

I've been reporting them too, they are slowly being handled (maybe mods are busy with plagiarism overloads).

Great minds think alike...

One of them even copy/pasted a comment shitting on them from earlier in the thread. I don't think English is their first language...

weak sauce. seems to be no reason for this tokens existence really
if you wanted to do the things claimed on your site, you would make your OWN chain
why rely on another coin for your project to survive?
lack of hard work, that is all. erc20 tokens are much less effort

I mean... really. This is some lazy ass spam.

I got a PM from the manager:

Greetings.
I contact you from the OMNIS-BIT team. We are going to go through this situation and explain you everything we can about.
We was not aware about the presence of a miner or malware or whatever you found there in the site and personally I want to thank you for find it out. Our team is financing the project with our funds without any other help and we spent a lot, really a lot of money to realize the site, this project purpose is pure and we would NEVER scam our users for some Montero's after spending thousands of euros behind the project. We had problems with an old developer and we are suspecting that he is the one that putted the miner for himself. we are not even getting money from the project and we are badly scared about what is happening. we are going to put the site under maintenance and if needed rewrite the site itself.
Please, I invite you to contact me or others members or the team throught our telegram group to show you everything with transparency and clearance.
Thank for the attention
OMNIS-BIT

Still doesn't explain why they would hire spammers to bump their thread with nonsense.

Also, as far as my tag is concerned, I'm not giving them the benefit of the doubt. Everyone always has an excuse. They should just start over with a new thread and account if they're serious.

I reported 4 shitpost from that thread. I also reported one person doing plagiarism which link is here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1926895.msg51061881#msg51061881 from that thread. Most of the reply coming from newbie accounts and all those posts are shitpost and one word post.

Huh. I checked the website, and I didn't find any viruses of any kind,I do have malwarebytes premium installed, and I even ran it through Virustotal and got nothing. Maybe that's why the thread is still up and running.

Unless there is reasonable proof, the likeliness of the thread getting thrashed is very likely.

Here you go:

Damn, I checked their website with VirusTotal yesterday, there was this small warning. I didn't open their website, just the twitter account.

Glad I didn't, look what rescan.pro found:

Why isn't their ANN closed already, there were so many bumping bots?

Project moved in the archive so we can consider this case closed. Smiley Thank you for the help and support.
I'm locking this thread.

Update >
OMNIS-BIT created a new ANN Thread > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5143916.0. Now it's reported. I'm waiting to see if it's gonna be trashed again.
