I support unban for this user. He was doing a lot of good posts, and he waited honestly for over a year.

As for me, this is an interesting case, from which we can conclude that the highest administration of the forum simply does not give a shit about users.

This is not true at all.  Both Hilarious and Theymos went well out of the normal way of doing things to start allowing people to be given another chance if they were permanently banned but seen as a net positive to the community as a whole.  Theymos did lay out some guidelines ( like having someone else start an un-ban appeal on behalf of the banned user)..not sure that's happened here yet.

It's been exactly a year since I created this branch. And just over a year since I've been banned.  I've been supported by a lot of people, and I'm very grateful to them. I've been honest with the rules and I haven't created any other accounts. I'm still waiting to get a second chance. But it seems to me that the administration of the forum is not reading my branch. And I even feel a little offended, because some appeals were dealt with very quickly, and I don't think mine were dealt with at all. In addition, some have already run out of even the punishment after the ban.

Hi, it's been more than a year and a half since my ban.I'm still hoping to get unbaned.  I know the chances are slim.  I read the forum and would very much like to be able to communicate on the forum again.

As for the account 1jaffa1 it's my roommate's account. I was at university at the time and we lived in the dorm together.And from time to time we sent tokens to each other. Sometimes I would take his telegram account.

You can have a second chance if you have good net contribution effect on this forum. If you have it, you could be unbanned years ago.

Net contribution effect is from your banned account before it was banned permanently so I am very sure that in the last four years, you did not have any contribution to be unbanned.

There's been no policy change. redsn0w wasn't permanently banned due to several factors which made me think that permabanning him would be a net negative for the forum. Nobody is banned strictly because of "the rules"; it's always handled case-by-case, but almost always, plagiarists deserve to be permabanned.

If you think that a ban should be ended, make your case in a new topic from a "good for the forum as a whole" perspective.

Some accounts banned already receives a second chance of getting unbanned if reconsidered through the extent they have contributed to the forum before they were banned, just as tranthidung have suggested to you, net contributions is very important in this aspect which they nay use to consider you, some members being banned also may be a temporary one, but in most cases of permanent ban, most accounts don't get unbanned except on rare occasion a consideration is given to their net forum contributions.
