I am sure that the price will soar again and pump higher, but if like 2017 prices are less convincing. maybe this year it will be below 23k, and hopefully this increase will continue without any other disruption affecting the decline in coin prices.

Bitcoin has just set a new high price this year, and also set a new high price since it undergoes slipping price last year of crypto. Because in late months of the year 2018, btc is only at $7000 plus, not exceeding to a $8000.

Investors hopes that the increasing price of bitcoin now is to continue its pace, or bull run would occur in the near future.

This is completely crazy.

There was no ATH at all. There was, in fact, a major BTC correction overnight.

It's clinging to the U$ 7k support right now, but who knows for how long.

I think some folks post price speculations just for kicks.

That's right it's crazy now it's undergoing a small correction, I think in 2019 this potential like yesterday's increase will make BTC go up again and create a bullish but it will also need processes so we must continue to adopt BTC.

No doubt most of the coins are paired with bitcoin and in result if the bitcoins price increased and so the paired coins of it, according to the article that I've read online that it's just like the pattern of the last bull and the pump is part of it soon it will dump and will soar just like the last bull pump.

When BTC up, most of the altcoin will up in $, but most likely drop in BTC/ETH if you are buying with it
Btw it is a new high for this year, not ATH tho

However, the new $8k milestone reached yesterday was not a proper one. In my opinion, it's just an act of killing margin that bitcoin climbed to $8k. Proof is it quickly went back to $7k today. It's risky to spend your money at any coins at the moment.

Yes, BTC had a sharp fall few hours ago, but I think it is still good to buy significantly strong coins including BTC simply because they are being sold at discounted prices. Nothing to worry regarding the sharp fall as long as the market recovers quickly.

this is only normal correction after bitcoin rise siginificantly in few days ago.so investors will take profit and waiting best price to buy back bitcoin again.based pattern in chart i see sharp correction in market for next several weeks.maybe when its correction done bitcoin will hit new ath this year.

Yesterday was probably one of the best days of raising the Bitcoin and also other altcoins since the bear market. However, the increase cannot stay for a longer time. As seen on the market, now they are decreasing again, in very dump price. However, I personally believe at all that Bitcoin can set the new high again after this market correction.

Well, if you jumped in towards the end of 2018 then yes, to you it will be an all time high and incredibly exciting.
For those that have been around for awhile it is still less than half of the previous all time high lol.

But, that doesn't depress me, in fact, I am very happy with the market now.
This type of growth hasn't been since in over a year.
It is unstable, so it will drop (today it has tanked), but this really confirms that the bottom was last nov when it went down to $3k.

I think what will see is more stability over the summer with btc hovering in the $7000s.
With bitcoin's halving next year, the next bull run can come as early as this december.

When that happens, we will definitely see a brand new all time high for everything.

The ATH is not coming, but it will come soon, be patient.
Right now, we see the market did correction for every price of the coins especially bitcoin, and we can hope that after this, the price will be back to increase and we will come back to make a profit like before.
But we need to keep steady just in case if the correction has run for the lower price because no one will know how deep the price will go.
So if we can prepare for the worst thing, then I think we can decide what we need to do later.
