I'm really confused, I want to know if it's time to cash in or to cash out, suffered lots of losses last year

there are some people that predicting that the ATH will be pass this bull run so if you are confused you can hold 50% of your bitcoins and the other if you want you can cash it out so whatever the outcome of the price you wont regret it.
It looks like they are not prepared and a lot of fear on themselves. We can give enough suggestions but if your emotion is negative like this i suggest not to invest. No one can tell the exact trend, help yourself to have trust in the market and don’t regret if you miss the chance to own cheap coins. I personally suggest to learn more, boost yourself and do buy if you’re ready to lose.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

The market faces correction right now, we have no idea how much it will down. There a number of people consider this market is largely manipulated so talking about bull trap it make senses. Better sell before that and stay safe.
Its a small correction and the price is still coming back to $8k level, so there’s no need to panic. Don’t sell if this is your emotion, sell if its your target price. I still see a bull trend and not a bull trap anymore, we can have lots of profit if we do wait and hold.

You have no idea about that when you can DYOR and you can argue what trend of the market right now but when you don't care about any update and you can't do DYOR. that means if you can't argue about the market.
The trend can be determined in the long term chart and the bulltrap happen in short chart.
Someone above you has suggested the best answer but im confusing about what you are talking about.
Keep some to bet on the bull.

Cash out if you are scared and already has made a great profit. It will probably have a big correction this weekend. Low volume and it doesn't appear people will buy more before a dip. But will be probably fast and the prices will recover stronger than ever. I would buy again before 6k.

You have to set your goal so that you know when to enter and exit. You can't just buy and hold without a target. This is the problem of new traders, they buy and just watch the price of the coin as it climb up and when it starts to drop, they panic until they realized that they should have sold an hour ago. Goals! Its important not only in trading and business but in any aspect of your life.

I think this is not the bull trap, it is like refreshment air in the crypto world. Do you remember after how many days BTC price hits 8K USD? When the price was 6500 to 7K, I was sure that the price will start sinking again, but I was totally wrong! This is not the bull trap, it is the beginning of the bull market! You have to be careful about making decisions! I suggest you go and make some cash, and don't forget to hold your best coins!

I agree with you.If this is just a bull trap, then fluctuations had happened already making the price low again. But it never happened so i'm really expecting that we are already entering into a bullish market.Selling at this moment while the price is expensive is your own choice already.Just make sure you still have some coins left for you to hold for a long term.

If you are afraid when the bull market appears, you should withdraw from the market at the moment. Prices rise too fast, and this may be a big trap for you, and fear is natural reactions. You are worried about risk, and you can sell your BTC, keep your money until the market decreases. But I believe Bitcoin is doing what it has to achieve and the price may not fall back.

It really is at your discretion for two reasons:

1. It's your money
2.- Your goals only you know.

Depending on this, analyzing your objectives can range from wanting to operate in the market or investing until the bitcoin market rises.

For the option to operate daily the market is framed in having a lot of risk, and requires that you have a lot of knowledge to operate the market and that you have success in it. To do this you must track various Exchanges, the main Exchanges that move the market, you must also bear in mind that it is always exclusive to know what values the market volume has, the order book that each Exchange shows you, you must take into account How the market goes down or up, if it has a lot of sales or purchases, are details that you have to take into account for your analysis.

If you fit into the investment you must take into account that you must do everything possible to not sell what you invest cheap, because you would lose time and money, and you must take into account that it takes a long time to see the benefits.

I'm weighing the situation during the sudden rise of bitcoin but I don't think this ain't a trap anymore.
If this is a bull trap, I don't think that this is going to be that high as high as $8k.
We may see some corrections but that won't be that much that will lead the bull into a trap.
And with your investing decisions, ask yourself many times and don't depend on others point of view about the market.

After a long bullish trent it is so hard to differentiate price correction and trap,so we just have to go with our instinct
This is the best weapon we must have in this riskiest trading or profiteering platform our “instincts “because without this for sure we will be gone wrong most of the time
Quote
.Myself choose the long term and contiue to hold even if the price reaches sloghtly below because we have to remember we started this year at $3000 and now reached upto $8500.
Well same strategy to put specific time to when withdrawals must be and I am for 5 years, half of my folio is designed for long term holding and the other 50% is by chances of what the market brings upon my sight,if I think it’s enough then I cash out simply as that

Major decline has happened today, bitcoin is down over 10% already and I hope this is not a result of the bull trap.

7 days low is $6280 and high was $8300, so this could just be a correction since we got good increase for the past 7 days.
Bitcoin today down below $7000 but I'm glad it's back to over $7K now.

Hopefully the dumpers are done, let's see from here if there will be a bounce back uptrend.

Its a small correction and the price is still coming back to $8k level, so there’s no need to panic. Don’t sell if this is your emotion, sell if its your target price. I still see a bull trend and not a bull trap anymore, we can have lots of profit if we do wait and hold.
There was a big drop that happened today more than 10% price change in the the prices of all coins. I am guessing this was the the correction that was supposed to happen after this bull trend. It was evident that the market was getting inflated by manipulation means or just something that we are not aware of yet, but a drop was coming.

If the growth was organic then the bulls should push back the bears and recover.

To be fair, it's not just bitcoin who suffered a major correction today, almost all of the crypto coins are also going down more than bitcoin.

There was a lot of support/resistance going on, specially when we breach $8k. But that was it, no more money coming in the market as investors chooses to pump altcoins by that time. So it lead to the price having a pullback. But I doubt we will go below $7k levels, the price is holding up at $7.3 so there's enough time for the bulls to push the bears in the next coming days.

At this moment, the market is doing a correction and I knew it was coming Smiley. I have watched videos on youtube that is why I knew this correction will come. 7500 is the major support but it quickly goes to the bottom of it. Its hard to say but for me, I predict that Bitcoin will go near the 5-6k$ in the next weeks.

This is not a bull run or a bull trap. Its just a small price increase followed by a correction and that is normal already for crypto market.

You can choose cashout if you really made profits from last year's investment but I guess this is not the right time since we are gaining prices in the recent days and reaches good price from last years bottom price.

There is dump on the price after we reaches $8500 for the last two days and predictions says this is just the correction and if we can again break the resistance on $8400 we could climb upto $9500 to $10000 by end of this month.

It very clear that it is too early to cash out now, if you are a long term investors, you might just have to wait a little longer because this price of bitcoin now is just the beginning of bull run, I know we are being careful because of the mistake we made last year, lots of us expected more than what we saw.

Right now, we have not really seen the bull run and I am sure this is not a bull trap, because this value is too low for the players to back down from, the will still push it higher to value that will be above the last ATH, but if you think whatever profit you have now is ok, and you wouldn’t be full of regret in future when you see a larger increase, you can cash out.

No one can tell you that, even if some people will say that "buy now, this is the dip we are waiting", you will still not believe. Just like what happened around December 2018, when the price of Bitcoin dropped around $3,200, some people are still waiting for the dip that time, but the price now almost x2.
The best to do is do your own research, try technical analysis, use the chart, compare the history prices or fundamental analysis or about positive news.
