I firmly agree with you. This is really much easy to say but difficult to implement. There are times when each of the peoples turns greedy or looses patience and panic sells his/her coins. No one remembers anything like being patience, etc at that time. For eg. If we see the price for X coin rising +100x then there are some peoples who might surely HODL that coin more only if they have greed in their minds.

Some peoples would sell at that peak and even there would be some peoples who would purchase more even at that peak which would make each of these category have their separate profits or losses. Even sometimes holding more can lead us in loss as the price can fastly fall from a peak which would never again reach there.

These are the reason why I don’t bother myself that much when it comes to trading crypto in this volatile market, because trading is just too technical and complicated.  what I did during the bear market was just to buy at bottom and hold my coins, which I can tell you that most of the coins that I bought during the bear market has yielded enough profit for me now that if I want to sell them and leave the market, I won’t lose anything because I already gain so much, but I am not going to do that yet because there is still enough light to shine more. It is better and less stressful to just continue to hold a coin than to trade.
