What importance is kyc In gambling section

What a strange idea! regardless of security and any benefits resulting from KYC. it won't mean anything to me. many countries prohibit gambling, even prison is a punishment for the players, KYC will only make players exposed, and it will certainly be very vulnerable to be caught by the police if the data is spread, moreover I'm sure many players using crypto to gambling because they like anonymously

The intention to use kyc is good. But still it's good characteristics does not apply for every situation. Like for example if the site was hacked. All your private infos are can also be valuable for the hackers. They can sell it on the black market or worse track you down and try to root on all your accounts. But I think casino doesn't need kyc for their respective clients. Just like a regular casino. They doesn't care who you are. They don't need to know who you are.

The example you gave is possible but there's less hacking incidents on gambling sites. If hackers target a gambling site they'll aim for the hot wallet rather than the information of the gamblers unless they're looking for someone.

If OP's "gambling section" is referring to the bitcoin casinos that accepts bitcoin and other cryptocurrency only then I agree it's not important but in some cases it could be reasonable for casinos.

First of all, KYC is not really important for players to play in gambling sites as your KYC details is not needed/will be used to play gambling games but due to gambling site's security and other purposes or prevention from having multiple accounts that may be used to explore bugs, glitches and errors of their site especially games. Gambling site owners are finding a way to prevent gamblers to not abuse their platform so they use KYC to know that person who abused their platform and caught then they can prevent that gambler creating another account and abuse their platform again. Anyway, there are more reasons why some gambling sites have KYC needed in order to use their platform.

You can't easily bypass the KYC, yes you can steal it but you never used especially if the staff is very strict. Unlike if the real beholder of KYC will do the required amount. I don't know if that KYC is very needed, because a lot of people now getting made into others if they know that site implemented KYC. Majority of all gamblers now are not tempted to their site if they have KYC implement.

Use the blockchain gambling. Some Centralized gambling sites require KYC but this is not the case in almost all decentralized gambling platforms. 

The mandatory KYC  is imposed on the websites by their respective governments.  These kinds of requirements are supposed to be minimal in crypto gambling.

Same here, i will never sumbit my KYC to a gambling site and rather will move on the other gambling site where there is no requirement of KYC. Since there are many good gambling sites which do not require kyc so people will just ignore the sites where kyc is mandatory.

Basically KYC provides an increase in security for us and also gambling website owners. However, as you say, indeed the application of KYC in the gambling section will not be too maximal because in essence the use of cryptocurrencies in the gambling game is to be able to keep the data of the players secret. So from the 10 levels, maybe only 3 levels need KYC and the conclusion in my opinion is that KYC is not very necessary in online gambling games.

I think that KYC is justified when we are talking about a person depositing at least 10 thousand dollars in a very short period of time. Anything below most likely has nothing to do with money laundering, but something above might. And I think it's okay to require identification from people who are playing on really significant amounts of money. As for the typical couple of dollars players - making them go through KYC because of the AML policies is unjustified.

KYC is not the major importance in gambling and it also does important because some people are abusing the decentralization of crypto currency through the issue of under age people, illegal money been spent on gambling while some people also get the seeds to some game to win huge fund. Therefore, the gambling company have to do something to protect their image which was the reason why KYC comes in gambling section. But, the part of you going through KYC when you actually just register when none of the situations I mentioned was not involved is something I dont support.
The site in subject definitely abuse the gambling KYC procedure.

KYC in ICO/Exchangers is different from Gambling when it comes to their motive why they do imply such verification.

ICO/Exchangers = Money Laundering
Gambling sites = Age Limit

Theres no other thing or reason why gambling sites do need kyc verification other than verifying players age.

I really hate to sign up for KYC at the decentralized marketplace. When there is some thing need to do at the centralized market then you need to do KYC or anything no one will mind about it.
This cryptos are created to stay anonymous and avoid the unwanted fees kind of things. This KYC policies will make the charges in very soon if you leave in gambling or any crypto based works. Simply boycott the KYC in decentralized market.

KYC has been a hot topic in cryptocurrency world whether it for new projects, gambling sites or exchanges. But i think most of the companies wanted to have security because if you are afraid of scam, so did them. As long as you know that the site is known and legit, no need to worry much.

KYC has been a hot topic in cryptocurrency world whether it for new projects, gambling sites or exchanges. But i think most of the companies wanted to have security because if you are afraid of scam, so did them. As long as you know that the site is known and legit, no need to worry much.

But then we can't stop them from worrying even the site is legit. Tbh, even I, also doesn't want KYC. Giving your personal information online is one of the thing everyone are avoiding, especially in crypto world. You always wanted to be anonymous as possible as you can. KYC is getting applied by sites and they are escalating, time will come, we really need to comply.

KYC means it is the verification process involved with the money verification but in this field it will be improving in this situation so we need to accept it as a good verification process because it will always gives the safe and security for our wallet and exchanges

You are right, a casino which requires kyc will see its traffic decrease drastically. It would be a shoot in the foot. If gamblers were fine about giving their personal informations I believe they wouldn't be gambling at crypto casinos, but at the online fiat casinos.
Nobody wants to win a jackpot and have all their informations watched simultaneously, there are gamblers playing even being under age, there are people who don't want others seeing what they do as hobby. Kyc ceases all these customers.
