This is more than a correction, it's a pure dump who bought earlier thinking that bitcoin will have more pump. If it was a correction, it would be more slower than it is now.

I think this is probably a change in the market. btc will hit the $ 9000 mark. From the beginning of the year until now, the market is tending to increase slightly and slowly.

To me this is not a correction movement ,correction movement should be slowly done not the sharp drop ,I think few whales took the advantage ,drop what they can either btc or alt I can't say for sure

This is just a correction after a continuous increase in the price of the coins especially Bitcoin. This is normal already and it is better that a correction is happening at this moment compare to what happened in 2017.

Looks like more of a dump to me, the dip is very huge and the gap is very wide, holders were looking for a profitable dump and the finds it at $8000 level, but there will be a correction after this, I'm sure the confidence of the investors to buy more are still there.

Investors are been wise ,taking out there profits while they can and I guess the smart ones detect there will be a huge correction that might drag down the price a lot so I think that's what happening presently ,this doesn't mean that the surge in price won't continue again ,crypto is unpredictable

I don't know what if the pump end. But correction has done.

Bitcoin tried to break resistance of 8300 2-3 times. And it didn't.

Now we just should wait for support. Probably, it will try for one time more resistance again.

Even i am wishing it should be correction after couple of months dump now only market started some growth i am not wishing for another dump . Lets hope for the best . Whales might already decided what to do we cant say exactly whats happening.

but i never think if bitcoin will be back to $4000 again my friend, because thats too deep for a corrections

in my opinion this is only a correction of the increase that occurred yesterday and after the correction is finished, then I am sure all cryptocurrency prices (including Bitcoin) will increase again and of course increase will higher than yesterday price, so I suggest you to hold all the coins that you have and wait until the bull run really happens this year.

there is no ETA about the bullrun for altcoin because that used any update from the developer. This is a correction and imagine after bitcoin has surged from 4k rate to the almost 8.5k rate and isn't that a normal when bitcoin gets a little down caused by the correction to the market. Bullish is not over yet and the next will come in the future.
Just waiting for the bottom to get in the market.

We are probably in the disbelief/sucker's rally phase. Many will get out at break even or with lesser losses at this time. And then, some support levels will be tested and the price might likely go sideways and then continue upwards.

I got the profits from the altcoins yesterday and change it to USDT, might say that was a good call. And yes this is just a market correction and this is normal. My buy zone in bitcoin price is at 6.8k up to 7k level. But no one knows where does the market heading, we must always do tight stoploss as trading right now is very risky.
