A lot of persons will be devastated again if this is just a bull trap and followed by a dump, however the technical analysis shows that the market is responding to a typical bull situation and alts are equally showing good responses. However I am 70% certain of a good uptrend on the medium term and not sure when becomes the actual bull run.

Altcoin prices don't increase, this is something different as it did in 2017, while bitcoin is starting to get very strong, I see there are several factors that affect the altcoin not going up are:
1. Altcoin is no longer dependent on Bitcoin
2. ethereum does not move up following the price of bitcoin, even though almost all altcoins use the ERC platform.

I agree, there is a huge news and that is BAKKT Bitcoin Futures will be tested on July.  Good thing is it is physiclally backed futures meaning the institution will hold physical Bitcoin unlike the previous futures that is cash - settled.  $10k is very clear this year.  Altcoin will defiitely follow once fund exit from Bitcoin market  but it won't be soon.

I think it would be difficult to have gains for now with how the market moves. As a trader it's really frustrating watching your altcoins and other assets mostly on dip and although it sometimes on green but it only stays for a very short period of time, so unless a trader has the techniques and know how to read candles and chart I think there's this chance that he could profit with his altcoins but it really takes time and you have to monitor everything in the market so that you can go when the opportunity is available. I take it as a very short pump period.
