Personally i would
I use amazon to get my electronics and I use it to send gifts too
So amazon accepting bitcoin will only make it more easy and sweet for me

But for other newbies; I’m not sure they are ready

There is a big possibility that I am going to use it especially if I have some extra money that I can spend for my needs. Using crypto currency as payment option is very interesting, not only that it will make your shopping easy but also you can save time.

But I am hesitant if when it will happen but I am hoping that the big companies out there will start to accept crypto currencies as one of their payment option in the near future.

To be totally honest, NO.

I bought something with Bitcoin yesterday and the site gives you a 10 minute grace period to get 1 confirmation on your transaction. It was a SegWit to SegWit transaction and it took 34 minutes to get the first confirmation at the highest fee.

The purchase was cancelled and I was asked to pay with another payment method. The refund will take 3 days, because they are closed over weekends.  Angry  We desperately need more merchants to start using the Lightning Network now or they will stop supporting Bitcoin.    Angry

If so, I believe that the BTC will achieve a very high price, because of the legitimacy is recognized, and many people will use BTC as a traditional currency.

If the stores are legit and no serious KYC is require, why not using some portion of my assets to pay bills and reserve some for the future. This decision has to do with individual involve, many will decide to keep for the future becasue they will be thing of the possibility of their assets be a valuable assets, then they will hold.

What I'm trying to ask is would you use that type of store with your crpyto (maybe that store accepts more crypto not only BTC) or you see crypto only as an asset that will provide you more fiat money in the future?

Now this is the problem with the currency side of bitcoin or even with leading alts. Currency ideally should be moving all around like the blood of our body just like that symbol of commerce that we know of but in the case of bitcoin and company the mantra since I can remember is: HODL. Why? Because we are expecting that soon the price will go up otherwise there is no reason to hold them somewhere (or even under the skin lol). We are speculating, therefore. This is the reason why many merchants are complaining low sales revenues coming from the bitcoin side. But what can we do? I am not sure if there is something we can do to encourage bitcoin holders to spend their bitcoin instead of just letting it stay somewhere idle. Honestly, bitcoin and the rest of the gang is really more of a store of value though you can use it to buy something even a car or a house and lot. That's the order of things here.

For me Bitcoin is essentially money but with high volatility. However, I probably wouldn't use such a website, because I rarely buy stuff on Amazon or eBay either. Of course, in case I needed to but something, I would prefer a website that accepts Bitcoin if the prices and fees are roughly the same. I would also love to pay the rent in BTC if it was possible, because when it comes to significant sums, the banking fees are way worse than Bitcoin's ones.

I'm not a frequent buyer, But if there is an option to buy with Bitcoin I will definitely use it from time to time. Hopefully some day Amazon and other giants will accept Cryptos directly, Life will be much easier.

Of course, they are big company and every people who always purchase online know them.
It will bring maximum exposure for BTC.

So will it happen ?
Since they still not forbid it, it has the chance so let the time decide

I'll buy from such stores if the products available on the specific store provides with added discounts or if the price mentioned is lesser than that of buying with fiat. Even if we get cryptocurrency acceptance all around it is quite hard to find such a store with only cryptocurrency acceptance and not fiat. Maybe some online store might get into existence.

Cryptocurrencies are like a diamond in the future they do have a lot of potential uses and they can be transacted by anyone and anytime around the world. it makes them same powerfull as banks but it is much better. I do not think Amazon or eBay is going to leave this chance as it is the best era of cryptocurrencies growth. I would definitely like to shop with bitcoins once in my life.

So I can see that most of you would use such a store. But many of you mention that major problem is having a trust in buying with crypto as BTC is non-refundable.

Personally I'm glad to see that majority see BTC as real currency and they are ready to use it as such.

Some of you also mention that you expect that kind of store would have higher prices then the store that accepts only fiat. But if it is a serious store I expect that they have similar prices as amazon, meaning they have their own stock.

Why not? I am using my crypto in gsmbling sites and trading physical items peer to peer. If like amazon site will use Bitcoin as a payment method it would be better for people who always on there home doing crypto. They can just directly buy on that website without encashing first then buy.

I think I would be hesitant to use that platform or store because people who use BTC as a payment method say that the fees are still not at a satisfying level and payment lasts long.

if USDT, TUSD, GUSD and some other coins that fall into the category of the stable currency they acccept as payment then I will use the Application gladly, but if the only Bitcoin they accept as payment then I will not use the application, not without reason I do this because besides Bitcoin there are still many cryptocurrencies whose prices are more stable and not rapidly changing.

No, I don't want to use bitcoin as the payment in that store because I want to save bitcoin for a long time. But if I can get a big profit in one day, maybe I will try to buy some product from that site. I see crypto as an asset and currency at the same time, but I prefer to use crypto as an asset because it is hard to find a local store here. But maybe in the future, there is any local store that wants to accept cryptocurrency.

If there is an online market platform that accepts cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin then i would definitely spend some of my cryptocurrencies over there. After all that's what many crypto enthusiasts are pushing for "The use of cryptocurrencies to pay for goods and services" and if there is a platform to help with this then i will give my support by spending some cryptocurrencies over there.

I'd use it as long as refunds were as easy as with fiat and there were perks included for using BTC. At this point, payment is pretty easy in fiat and I get incentive to use my cards with perks.
