There are many events in 2020 that are going to change the way we see bitcoin and I am thinking that by December 2020 bitcoin should be as high as $70,000 to $100,000. It might be a speculation now but I am believing that, it is going to happen that way and those that wish to hold are going to make huge profits.

There are many events in 2020 that are going to change the way we see bitcoin and I am thinking that by December 2020 bitcoin should be as high as $70,000 to $100,000. It might be a speculation now but I am believing that, it is going to happen that way and those that wish to hold are going to make huge profits.

Who wouldn't like that price in December 2020? However, we should be giving conservative estimates, so that we won't be dishearten or disappointed when the price wasn't touch. For me at least reaching the last ATH of $20k will be an achievement in itself.

What caused recent rise? You can`t find the reason for that, in a contrary, after binance was hacked and some other things people expected price to drop. How unpredictable price is some people knows for a long time, nothing changed about that. So what can happen in 2020, the year of the halving, what price to expect next July and price in the end of 2020 is very hard to predict. I think anything is possible, recent rise proves that again, so keep you head cool and if you think its top sell some, if you think its bottom buy some and like that until price makes this kind of swings, this will not last forever.

I never took this question seriously, because no one will know against it. We just did with our crazy predict and imagine its price reach $50.000 and I never found someone's predicts who clearly explain that bitcoin will touch high amount with some certain factors on it. Bitcoin can reach that price in the future, but we don't know if that will happen in 2020 or not because the price could go anywhere.
We could only hope that bitcoin price can increase more than $10,000 in this year so, in the next year, the price can rise higher than this year.
We still have 7 months to see how high bitcoin price can increase so everything can be possible, and now, the price still trying to break the higher price and I see the big chance to get a new higher price.

in 2020 bitcoin gets another block halving, ATH bitcoin in the past was around 20k USD and that means about the price of bitcoin will have doubled and taking from its ATH and it should be around $40k or less.
Block halving decrease 50% from the block reward and that cuts the total bitcoin that distributed anytime to the exchage site becomes 50% less.

I don't feel that resistance and even halving will push the market to grow but not to the extent that it will soar high x2 from 2017 ATH.
It would be great to see BTC price like that but somehow there is no reason why we should be able to top when people can't even afford to buy this coin. Better to stay at low prices where we can enjoy buying Bitcoin and not have too much risk to face.

Even if you are correct in your prediction such a huge price will be for nothing if it cannot be maintained, however if the price of bitcoin not only reaches those levels but it can also be maintained then the governments are going to have a lot of trouble explaining to their citizens why they should not invest in this new form of money that is so profitable and that does not have all the ridiculous regulations that fiat has, so banks and governments will be the hardest hit by such a huge and stable price.

Whales could bring down the bitcoin market price this because they have made the current bitcoin market price now surge up to 7K USD. Now, it is up to the people around the world to invest in bitcoin and probably those ICO projects that does not have the real project but only invested on bitcoin and other coins in the market. This will help BTC or the crypto market to pump up but I guess the OP was exaggerating too much about thinking 50K USD per btc in the year 2020. I am only thinking about 20-30K Usd per btc in the future like in 2020.

Maintaining will be the big test in terms of this industry, as trading value will continuously moving according to how the traders and investors way
they will keep on buying or selling the coin as it will attract more new investors, with such amount of value it hardly to maintained that level as

If those "authorities in financial cycle" according to you has such tremendous power to bring bitcoin down they could have do that long time ago. Bitcoin has it own backing outside of those authority and nor of them can harm bitcoin the way we think.
