it can go back again, no question on that. but i think it would happen due btc price jumps. performance rate is still low and when sudden tx increase would hit the fan its gonna be 2017 all over again, but idk if it could get any worse tho)) when btc, on other hand, conquering space traffic right now and scaling topic is on another level after ⚡️

As we always notice, ethereum and other alts are basing their move to bitcoins jump so whenever bitcoin goes on high, they will follow the leader.

I'm already expecting that tx fees would increase gradually as sign of the markets shift from bear to bull just as you stated.

Truly, it may seems Waves is actually overrated judging from what we outlined in whitepaper, articles, peoples predictions and all. But this doesn't deduce Waves not being a promising coin with so many potentials to rise through the ranks

Doing a reaserch over a coin before going in is key has buying at high when they surge is risky and when it dump doesn't mean it is not a good project .

The time you buy determine the gain or loss and am sure it will surge later and surpass your buy area but base on the TA it need some correction and you not knowing it was why you are still in .

Now that there are more platforms more likely better than waves, it may never get a chance to fly like the last 2017. $13 is even too ambitious to think. A lot may focus more on what can become like the Binance which is becoming a complete platform, EOS and of course ETH. One day if there is no significant thigns that can happen on WAVES, cardano and TRX may have a price of more than $5 each and waves be left forgotten.

Honestly these so called "crypto specialist" doesn't exist, they just throwing anything and if they're wrong they can just tell the market is unpredictable, waves still have the chance to develop and prove itself, time will only tell.

I think WAVES is rather undervalued and not overrated as you mentioned. Many DAPPS are building on WAVES blockchain presently especially games. So many new good projects, still hidden gems are going the WAVES way. They keep the development coming through too. The price of a token doesn't depict the efforts put in by the team in most cases.

I agree with you, that means that waves in underrated at the moment. There are many platforms out there, waves is one of the good ones, really strong community, leasing waves to earn some of their tokens is a great thing. Waves have great potential, and who didnt invest in waves until now should do it, price will not be like this for a long time.

I think that the waves have something that deserves and does not think it is overvalued. There are coins that really underestimated, not like the ethereum, for example, it should cost much more, but we have what we have and should accept it.

I have since sold my wave, it was always dumping when I expected it would moon. I will still buy some in the future because of how fast it's in terms of transaction conformation time.

I bought waves a while back.  I always thought waves would be big and people say it would beat ETH.  Well besides the price going up a lot when every other coin went sky high a while ago, this coin has shown no progress at all.  The price has done nothing but drop down or when other altcoins go up, it barely goes up much.  Also most ppl definitely bought waves at higher than the current price.


What confuses me is how is this possible when there are so many updates and things going with waves?  Shouldn't the price at least go up a bit?

It really should but the potential for this coin to reach $20 or more is high, it reaches $15 on its an all-time high, it's the most underrated coin in the business, and the funny side is it's an old coin, that has a lot of development, it seems it lacks marketing, the most important one.

I think Waves is good long term investment and its like ethereum. But to compete with ethereum, i think its hard for waves because ethereum already have big community and used by many token in market. Waves have advantages like having their own DEX and its good for trading

Take a look at the community backing waves.
It is small and mostly fringe.
Not only that, it has become known as the place where shitcoins, jokecoins, and scams go to make a token.

After a year of the market crashing, we are finally at that point where coins/tokens just don't survive off of hype anymore.
Take a look at all of the other successful smart contract platforms out there.

You will see that the ones that have a robust, stable, and well known community are doing well.
Whereas the ones with terrible backers or ones where the mainet isn't even working are falling.

I expect a lot of these will be dead by next year.
In fact, take a good look at the top 100, 80% of those won't be around as soon as next year.
