Ethereum hasn't performed that well recently considering Bitcoin's amazing rally, but this only represents a good opportunity to buy if its oversold as there should be improvements for this platform in the second half of this year that will add more potential value

There will be a chance such situation will happen. $240 is not too far away from the current price of Ethereum. Ethereum right now is only valued less than $300. That means we could touch that $240 price anytime, especially if Bitcoin will once again rally aggressively and get back to around $14,000. The altcoins will once again suffer. |

It will not because the market in which Ethereum platform was commonly used in every transaction is now recovering from the long bearish that in fact Bitcoin bullish is already acknowledged by famous various sectors. We have used to see that if Bitcoin is healthy it will create domino effect to Altcoins specially Ethereum. So for me back to $240 again is not possible.

this should not happen again, ethereum is having a long time at a low price and it is an opportunity for us to invest but many people give that opportunity a chance. Ethereum will continue to move up even though Lamat will at least not come back down until the end of this year

Might be happen sooner or later. Despite there is no such change on ethereum price or even altcoin on general. If there is no update regarding this, then worse thing could happen in the future. Ethereum gives confidence. Ethereum makes money.  But, that's not what Ethereum exist for. |

Sure, price drop will not happen. For such price we need BTC down till $5-6k. If you think it's possible then EETH price near $240 possible also. But I think we saw deep of market for nearest 1-2 years. That's why I don't wait $240. No less $250

All predictions were unexpected and ETH returned to $200 in a very short time. Right now I hope that ETH would not drop below 100 USD. Everything was great, the fist signs of recovery were there, ETH was around 230 bucks again, and everything has dropped rapidly. I think we should wait for ETH 2.0 to have a better picture.

We have to remember that the market is moving as one. All alts have been falling. This doesn't say anything at all about whether or not ETH is a good project.
But ETH is a good project. It has one of the strongest use-cases in all of crypto, and it has strong devs and a solid roadmap. We will probably have to wait some years before the markets are sufficiently mature for coins to stand on their own and not move together. But when that time comes, ETH I'm sure will be one of the top alts. The future for this coin looks very good. Don't worry about small price drops now. They will seem insignificant in years to come.
