The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

I don't think about this, because for every dip last year, I bought bitcoins, like first, around $6,000, then it was dump around $3,200 bought some around this area and recently was around $5,000 this year. I hold this for long term so no regrets and no FOMO.

Did anyone bought BTC at 3k4 and sell BTC at 8k3 for real? How many percentage of profit did you earn from the recently bull run??
If we will based on Coinbase, around 158% gain if you bought BTC around $3,165 and sold it around $8,200.

I mean how many profit did people earn from the bull run (not calculate % up of BTC)
The reason why i ask this is i saw many people wait for the correction since BTC 4k,5k,6k to buy, but the price just went straight up and no correction, then people regret of not buying BTC.

I didn't earn because I simply didn't dump it. I'm for the long haul so obviously, I'm looking like in the new ath before I finally think of getting some profits.

But for those who wanted to book profits @8400 then that's cool though, as long as you can make a decent profit here and not losing money, I congratulate you.  Grin

Why not? I needed money and it was a perfect time to get some as the price goes up this month alone, so my answer would be yes.

Did anyone ask your self why you always miss the train and then regret and decide to fomo?

It's a never ending discussion, we don't know when to take profits or when to hold still. But for me if I don't need money, then I will just let my bitcoin sit in my wallet. Not a professional trader though, just saying from my personal experience.

Not much since I didn't have enough money to keep my crypto .
I need to convert it into Fiat for daily expenses so I only have few .
But at least I earn some profit instead of having nothing at all it is much more better.

People think this is the time to cash out but I am not interested in taking out the profits now and hoping for the more bullish movements in the upcoming weeks.

But I don't know how long it will take to break the next resistance of BTC?

I bought to that price only for a little so I will not satisfy yet if I sell my bitcoin or convert into fiat so I will wait more rising to happen to get more profit. People now are holding their coin and I believe it will rise the value of the so I have reason to hold it. But other people bought more than the value today so they still keeping their coins until they reach their target.

I don't trade most of the time but I was able to buy on the level of $4k and until now holding with it, same thing with ETH around $120 or less.

Did anyone ask your self why you always miss the train and then regret and decide to fomo?
No one, because they don't know my trading/investing activities and if ever I don't care to them because I know what to do.
Don't regret if you miss $3k level, the price right now is down and this can be a chance for you to buy again. The target price for bitcoin this year is around $15k, so there's still time to buy.

Didn't even think about that because not all of people were able to buying bitcoin at such price. I got only a hundred percent return because i bought it when the price was around $4100.
Rather than joined to the market when FOMO has already begun and i choose to move and waiting for the next dip.
Only follow or emotion will not become the best answer.

Most short-term investors sell all Bitcoin when the value of this coin reaches $7000 and very few people can keep it until now. I think the market is helping a lot of investors become richer in the last 2 months and if you can keep it up to now, your profit has reached over 170%. That's the number that long-term investors really want in this discount market so keep keeping Bitcoin until the price reaches $10,000 this year.

I made a few thousand through leveraged trading on Bitmex after the initial April 1 pump. I was trading around 0.02BTC right after the pump, and I was able to turn that into much more through some carefully timed longs around when pumps happened. Still got nearly stopped out a number of times when dumps happened, but thankfully that didn’t happen. I actually did FOMO into pumps a few times, worked out some of the time, didn’t some of the time. I’m currently working on controlling my emotions more while I sit out of the current market conditions as I don’t feel extremely confident in my trades anymore.

Most of the peoples are earn some good profit in this bull run, at the same time it will continue in future also so all the peoples are buying the Bitcoin and altcoin. I think still some peoples are concentrate the token investment because unexpected hypes are occur in token investment. So if we buy any crypto surely it will make good profit.

The important thing is realizing just how fast the price of bitcoin can move and it is an awful feeling to sell your btc only to watch it rise and never return to your sell price.  I dont have the courage to play around with high leverage trading but hats off to those of you that do.

But still the point is we have to make money, so in order to maximize profit, one was to control his/her emotions and not to be carried away by small profits. You should get the most of out every investment so I also wound't advise, or at least personally, I don't like to sell and will probably wait for the next all-time-highs in 2021.

when are you going to sell it then?

personally i'm in for the long run, simply because i can't trade regularly. got some btc few weeks ago when i joined a sig campaign and i liquidate most of them asap, but still have some left to save for 2020 and the halving day. after the halving day, i'd probably sell some, keep profits and then bought the dip again.

Yes I earn a good profit from this lastest bull run but not huge profit since Bitcoin pump and altcoin dump this is a worst scenario in the market but I believe altcoin will follow bitcoin price altcoin if the price back to $10,000 the good thing right now if we convert to fiat it has a good convert value.
In this case we need to earn more or hold more bitcoin to make a huge profit if Bitcoin can be back to its all time high.

I simply have not taken any action since the last bull run (2017) and the bear market. I am right now 35% down now from the peak. What do you think about guys? I literally have done nothing while btc decreasing from ATH to $3000 and then increasing to $8000, almost 1.5 years.

Right now, BTC looks struggling getting back to $8k USD so my prediction is that it will go back to $6.8k by next week or next month. Whales will simply trade to another currency if BTC will not break the $8k wall going to $8.6k. Looking on the previous days, a lot have earned due to BTC getting pumped so it is never a wrong move to buy BTC because in the long run you will still earn. Just have patience and don't do FOMO and panic selling.

My current strategy is to sell after several months of bitcoin halving, maybe I will get the highest price possible for the coming years.
I do not think you should worry about selling, especially when the price recovers and returns to $ 8000 so we're likely to see $ 10,000 soon and maybe more.
Every time is a good time to make a profit and maybe a loss, the difference between them is not great so you did not miss the opportunity for the price may rise to $ 20,000 or back to $ 1000.
