Have funds at VirWox - how do I send to a bitcoin address?

I have some funds stored at VirWox, but I've no familiarity with secondlife or any of that.

What I'd like to do is send to a BTC address. How do I do this? Is it simple or complicated?

this is how to go from SLL to BTC

click the link BTC/SLL to sell SLL for BTC


type in the number of BTC you want, it will quote an exchange rate including their
commission. Just keep guessing until you have a whole number that is less than your SLL balance.
(they only allow whole numbers of BTC)


once you have made the exchange and have got BTC in your balance (on the left)
you must click withdraw


finally fill out the address and amount


The BTC will take a few days to transfer, because they manually approve new users.

I believe I currently only have a balance in USD though, not SLL. The exchange BTC/SLL page says "You currently do not have enough money in your account to actually place an order.", which I assume is because I don't have any SLL.

How do I convert my USD balance to SLL? I'm confused by the nature of the site, and didn't really grasp what I was getting into with this SLL business

First click on USD/SLL and buy SLL with your USD.  Then follow the rest of avoid3d's instructions.

At the top left of the page are your balances.

You need to use market orders to sell each time.

1) Sell USD for LindenDollars

2) Sell LindenDollars for BTC
