Kalokohan para sa ICCT Colleges. I'm currently studying there right now, and based on the updated curriculum wala pa syang ganyan and I don't think na interesado sila, dahil na din sa lack of good instructors... I'm currently stating a fact about this shitty school, dahil isa sa mga pinaka worst school ito, na-BITAG na din ito dahil sa mga anumalya, and still madami pa din ang Professors na kayang kayang suhulan.

One time, I asked a 3rd year IT student of what languages did she learned, and try to guess its pure basic, Walang kamatayang C++ Language, Visual Basic and a little bit of Java and Python. Up until now ganun pa rin ang kalakaran dito kung kaya naman kung may nais mag aral dito sa ICCT, don't expect to learn from them. Pero kung diploma lang ang habol mo, not bad to kill your 3 whole years of time here. (Mas may natutunan pa ko dito sa forum kesa sa ICCT)

Ganyan naman talaga ang karamihiang mga schools, mayroon na nga dito sa amin minsan lang nag aattend ng class nila at di pa marunong mag turo, related din sa computer course. Nawalan na ako ng ganang mag-aral pagdating sa mga ganitong uri ng kurso dahil di naman experto ang magtuturo, kahit nalampasan nyu na ang basics at namaster eh pababayaan na kayung magexplore. Minsan sa youtube na ako nanood ng mga tutorials at mas may alam pa sila kesa sa mga guro namin dito.

Just by looking at the schools I immediately identified all of them as being private schools meaning this elective course will come in a price, meaning kailangan mo magbayad para sa isang course na hindi naman related sa iyong kurso. Syempre ang habol lang naman dito is yung bayad at hindiyung maituturo sa estudyante kaya di mo naman nakita ang UP manlang sa isa sa mga ino-offeran nila ng elective course na ito. Another thing that I was hoping for is sana ginawa nalang nilang blockchain in general di na sana nila linimit sa NEM lang.

May naka debate ako previously about voting system using blockchain and this curriculum na gusto i turo ng NEM can really be a good start for the government to start learning the tech kahit for a better storage for confidential data lng muna.

Most of the schools naman na nabanggit are capable sa na sabing course offering while others may seemed to be nakikisabay lng sa trend (tho let's not talk about crossing the bridge 'til we get there.

Too bad for you mate, have you considered na lumipat ng school, Btw just a small info. In cebu malala din ang teaching system ng AMA I am not sure also if they will adopt this innovative approach for their curriculum.

Hindi pa tlga pde i apply to as for now, I was just saying na this can be a good start for storing confidential data from the government. Cguro 10 years from now pa yung na iisip ko na if this kind of courses will work malamang may mga professionals na tayo by the end of that time who can work for the government ( well it still depends sa mga namamahala if by that time they will start to proposed adopting such technology for data processing.

Exactly, by experienced lahat ng pinagawa sakin sa work is super layo sa lahat ng natutunan ko at ngaun dahil bago nanaman ang trend sa IT industry kailangan nanaman mag aral ng mga bago at in demand sa market. Therefore  having a degree for me is not necessary and marami naman din magagalang from ICCT schools dahil hindi cla umasa lng sa corrupt system ng kanilang school and I think marami ng kabataan ngaun ang natuto from the mistakes of their seniors

Mukhang mahirap nga mai-apply sa local elections kasi alam mo naman ang gobyerno natin kahit magaling ang namumuno kung yung mga tauhan niya naman ay hindi willing at walang political will, mahirap talaga tulungan yung dapat i-angat pagdating sa teknolohiya at innovation na kailangan ng bansa natin tulad ng pag-adopt ng blockchain. Meron dapat talaga na tututok sa ganitong uri ng pag-aaral na mismo sa gobyerno manggagaling, kasi sa ngayon parang puro private companies lang ang interesado.

Sa ngayon sa larangran ng cryptocurrecy hindi na tayo nagpapahuli, pero kung titignan natin marami pa rin sa mga Pinoy ang hindi open sa mga ganto kaya kunting tiis lang dadating tayo diyan. Kung lahat sana ng University sa Pilipinas ay magtuturo about sa cryptocurrency malaki ang magiging resulta nito sa presyo dahil magkakainterest ang mga studyante maging ang mga guro.

I'm lucky enough that I'm studying there because NEM visit our university to have a seminar about blockchain. It's an interesting idea where we can create more innovative idea about this. Kaya ko na-iproposed yung blockchain sa election system kasi marami akong natutunan sa seminar nila.

Actually, posible talaga na magkaroon ng negotiation between COMELEC at NEM to implement the blockchain in the election system, ang government lang ang may ayaw. I would like to invite NEM again sa school namin to have another seminar kasi uso na sa project study ang blockchain sa system kasi it's efficient and bago na technology.

I know them and na meet ko na din yung one of the councilor ng NEM organization and grabe bumuo siya ng team na ito nga yung (NEM Philippines) , which is na naging super active at maganda yung mga proyekto na ginagawa nila in our country.

As a filipino at nakikita talaga natin yung makabagong technology nato, which is blockchain. Bakit hindi nga natin i-suggest sa bansa natin at subukan na pag aralan na sa mga colleges or even high schools sa mga susunod na generation?

Saang school ka? ibig sabihin merong mga case study dyan or in short thesis or mini thesis na ang dapat ay related to blockchain?

Sa pagkakaalam ko inoofer lang ang isang elective course related sa kung anong course ang kinukuha mo for example kung IT ang course mo pwede mong piliin tong elective na NEM Blockchain pero kung Nursing naman ang course mo tingin ko hindi nila inooffer yun kasi malau naman sa course mo, yan ay base sa experienced ko dati sa nung college ako wayback 2010, iwan ko lang sa ibang school kung ganyan den.

Saang school ka? ibig sabihin merong mga case study dyan or in short thesis or mini thesis na ang dapat ay related to blockchain?

Yes, last year merong thesis about sa data system na similar sa mga ginagawa ng mga project sa cryptocurrency and now may theis ulit na related about sa data naman ng university, all of that is used by blockchain. The info you wanted is confidential but I'll give you a hint, it's just a state u around Metro Manila. Pero I think lahat naman ng tech-related universities ay may ganitong klase ng learnings. 

Kasi dahil sa tulong nalang din ng NEM, mas lumawak ang kapasidad ng mga students lalo na sa mga bagong technology like blockchain.

I just received an update from a reliable source that our school (ICCT) will not be able to accomplish such course, for the main reason the majority of the professors and instructors doesn't really get how blockchain works and how it will be made. It is really such a waste, though I already expect that it wouldn't be implemented in the first place 😂

Sa tingin ko rin hindi agad agad maiimplemented ang ganitong course dito sa Pilipinas dahil hindi naman ganoon masyadong open-minded mga taon dito kumpara ibang bansa. At tama kinakailangan ang magtuturo sa iyo or ang instructor mo ay alam niya ang blockhain baka mamaya mas magaling ka pa sa kanya nayare na hindi agad agad yan maiimplement.
