Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Please check yourself Smiley Why do you blame us for this not even trying the app?
It is only a closed Beta, we would like somebody to tell us the feedback. That's all.

You see, it's generally accepted that newbies that just registered and posted their applications usually means a wallet stealer(or possible keylogger). It could also be a wallet indeed, but with a weak PRNG for privkeys. Do you see what I mean?

Also, I am an Android user Wink

What about the fact Apple will never put your app on their store?

GOT you Smiley
We will never need to be there.  Tongue
It is technology web based app with security on hardware level. Safari supports this security system just fine.
Has anybody tested it already? I would really appreciate real feedback.
Thanks.

i'll do a test for you... I'm not loading it up with my own BTC tho, it's my work phone and I could get sacked at any minute (kidding, i run the business!)

EDIT1. installed. on first view, it looks OK, you do realise i'm being VERY trusting here.. this is unusual for me!!
EDIT2. Please send bitcoins to 13vTfRHp6DK4TzewyZskhFGL7wzjNDHNEM

I like it.
as long as you can ensure it's security and don't become a dickscammer, this has legs.

All my family are iOS users (mostly iPads) and we were left a bit lost when blockchain app was removed from the app store, so let me test this for a week (i'll set up some mining to the address) and if all is well with no problems, i'll recommend it. This is just the kind of thing we need, to be honest.

EDIT: test BTC received OK, I will wait until it's got 6 confirmations before I start some mining - 13vTfRHp6DK4TzewyZskhFGL7wzjNDHNEM - will be on eligius, so feel free to check it's stats later on in the week to see the funds which my fruitwallet app will be receiving...

ADD: for those who are unsure about this service, it will change the profile of your iOS device, and if you are at all unsure, just come back here in a month or so and i'll advise - I am not affilaited with FruitWallet, i'm just an end user, and will be happy to give you my honest opinion of this.

great. pls keep us updated.
thanks again.

P.S. just be informed. this wallet is tied to you iPhone. You cant get access to your BTC from any other place.
I recommend to set up Security code for your device if you still has none. It is asked before each transaction sent.

thanks again.

will do, the email was received no problem the instant you made the transfer.
watch the miner for yourself if you like, it's set up now;

http://eligius.st/~wizkid057/newstats/userstats.php/13vTfRHp6DK4TzewyZskhFGL7wzjNDHNEM

i'll check the app each day and if all is secure enough to my linking, i'll leave the miner running for a week or so. I've only got 50GH/s or my rig pointed at it so it may, take a while to accrue some coins, once it has some coins, i'll start doing a few transfers with other members of my family and report back here with my findings.

on first look, it looks fabulous, very simple user interface, nothing fancy, it does what it says on the tin. And that's just my kind of service.

RE: PS. yes, i always use a security code and two-factor auth for everything I run. the service needed the code to begin installing, which I have now changed to anotehr code to ensure no jiggerypokery can occur Wink

Question: what is the purpose of the trash can symbol in the settings page? (before I click it and accidentally delete stuff!)

OK, cool, yes, it signed me out, signed back in without a problem and state is the same with no worries.
I think all you will need is to make sure the back end is not open to compromise, if you have truly got this security nailed, I can see this being huge.
I'm going to recommend my family to install it now.

happy to help out mate, bitcoin is about community, which many folks tend to forget so easily. I've emailed my family who have BTC and recommended they install this - so let me take a week and i'll hope to report back with positive comments. As long as the wallet will accept my mined coins, i'm happy to make it my main mobile wallet (i can finally delete the blockchain app - which was full of bugs)
