a. Wrong area. use the mining software area for queries like this...
b. The main developer -ck who wrote cgminer (along with others folks) left out the 'I' in ASIC which stands for Application-Specific Integrated Circuit.
c. -ck has a cgminer thread in the software section but in his infinite wisdom has locked it because he-just-does-not-care about it anymore.
