As far as I know, FB coin is a stable coin. I don't think the price will go up. so I think it's a little hard to get a profit from FB coin.
well its really true that it will be really hard to get profit from it if FB coin a stable coin.
usually its dollar base and the price will always rise and drop only a little percentage
for me i dont hold stable coin because the value of dollar also drop as time past by

I think it's good in the sense that since so many companies are behind it,

so many companies are behind it? i though its owned by facebook ? therfor facebook is the only company that owned it . you mean to say that fb have some partnership with other companies to market this coin succesfully and also to have some shares so that they can also earn a profit whenever the coins became a hit on the market  .

it will make Bitcoin more attractive.

how ? do you think its a good thing ?  i guess no  . you should not be happy with this coin because this coin is a might be a big competitor of bitcoin and itll not make bitcoin more attractive but itll make bitcoin less attractive .

I think LIBRA is good so why people don't want to buy this coin
LIBRA is coin from Facebook and Facebook is once bigger social media platform.
Why we need afraid with LIBRA ??
For typical users of Facebook which isnt aware on crypto existence then this would turn out to be a normal payment option on their part
but for those people who are aware on decentralized and centralized coins will surely react into this one.So its non surprising that
Libra's existence do have that criticism and positive insights.

If it makes my transaction easier with more anonymity I would definitely use it, the biggest benefit for me might just the ease of paying overseas services, or maybe crypto stuff. Yet I believe it ain't gonna be easy for a widespread implementation where nations might have a loosen track on their currency. Buying stable coins in local currency is pretty expensive, we would see how libra does it

I want nothing to do with anything Facebook has  to do with they are constantly getting caught selling our private information I stopped posting updates on my business page almost a year ago and have been doing just fine without them, people are always complaining about banks locking their accounts and knowing their business are you really going to trust Facebook every time you send money they are going to be saving that info

Because of the huge number of Facebook users. Whether you buy it or not, you can't ignore it. There is still a long way to go in the future encryption world. So. I can say with certainty that I will buy it.

Honestly, who would buy this? Serious question! I've been reading about it and I don't see how Facebook can create a coin that upholds the values crypto portrays (censorship free currency).

Facebook coin has two types, one type is for Facebook ecosystem and exchange like as stable coins, other type is for big foundations or big investors who can contribute huge amounts of capital

They have wide source of audience and the first clients that will surely buy their coins will be the advertisers especially if they are going to use their Facebook coin as a main type of their ads payment.

Facebook have plenty of ads and many are trying to advertise their goods and services especially if they can benefit from it. But for the traders and investors, there is a little chance that they will embrace Facebook coin.

Pretty sure there will be buyers because facebook is a huge company and has a lot of users and supporters. For starters, I think the users will be the one to first to buy. Huge companies might also invest since facebook are the one creating the coin. I think its a good step for facebook to enter cryptocurrency because its the trend and crypto will be the future of currency.

I would prefers facebook follows the normal process most altcoin launchers followed ie launching of their ICOs possibly using the bounty section here thus Libra coin will attract many cryptos investors I believed this forum covers much on all crypto related stuffs and having millions of crypto enthusiasts who are well informed and enlightened on cryptocurrencies.
Facebooks having a larger proportion of users does not mean the users are crypto friendly I suggest they follow the footprint of other coins by tabling their road map thus attracting more investors.

Banks and big companies who want to be part of Facebook are going to buy Libra coin. But i don't want to buy it. But i am afraid that it will be replacing the credit cards and that we will have to use it to buy things on the internet, as Visa and Mastercard are going be part of it. Facebook want to be your next bank.
It can help boost cryptocurrencies if it can be exchanged against Bitcoin and altcoins. But Libra coin is not a coin for traders, except if the bear market come back.

You can sleep well because it won't replace credit cards all around the world. Not all countries want to drop fiat and become cashless.

Many people live without credit cards and just use debit cards. Do you think that they will be able to suddenly make a hundred million of their users switch from fiat to a stablecoin? A financial crisis will hit long before it happens.

Honestly, for now, I'm still confused about whether to buy or not. I need deeper analyss and also the chance for this coin later. However, actually, this coin from Facebook is very promising, moreover, they make a certain partnership with Visa and PayPal. That is why it is interesting and need to analyze more.

Facebook is a large platform with members spread throughout the world. At least Facebook members will buy Libra Coin to facilitate transactions between Facebook members. I think with the support of various large companies, Libra Coin will have many holders

From what I read, facebook coins are like stablecoin. I think this is not an investment because as far as I know it's like USDT. It's better to invest in bitcoin or good altcoin because it's more profitable

Censorship and centralization is a great issue no die-hard crypto believer will ever come in term with. And fb coin is built on this two features. However, many are having a second thought about Facebook coin and the reason is that the massive adoption it is bringing to the cryptocurrency industry. With fb massive database, bitcoin and other coins are on the journey to reach more population.

Since the economic model is more of centralization and a stablecoin for that matter then I don't think I can invest my money in such because there is little or no profit in investing on stablecoin.
