HELP with mining Monero [XMR] on Azure

I need help configuring mining setup Monero[XMR] on Azure.

My company allows me to use $15K per year in Azure credits for personal projects (I've used $200 so far). My renewal for another $15k is in July so hoping to burn $15k that I have now asap.

I've setup a resource with exactly this config:

Is this better optimized/updated configs I can use? This script also gives 4% to the authors. I'm not saying it should be free but donations should be optional not mandatory. Is there a script without this tax or can I simply erase the "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/azurecloudminingscript/azure-cloud-mining-script/master/azure_script/setup_vm3.sh" out of the script and it will work?

No, there is not. The script automatically pulls the latest version of the miner to be copied into your VMs. Now for the configs, keep it default as the post because they are extensively tested and in working. If you tinker with the configs on your own without any technical knowledge of the same, it may cause problems and it will be a nightmare to solve it.

No, the above is the main component for this to work. You cannot evade the 4% fees. Moreover, why is it a problem to provide 4% when you are using someone else services or methods?

But I have no experience on Azure, but maybe it's easy to replace, since the exe has the same config as the original xmr-stak.

I am not doubting your claims but it seems azure have long time disallow crypto mining, I also tried to check the date that your mining guide was published but found nothing on their website.

Azure was able to detecting the mining activity automatically

@asriloni I've read the article you linked and it turns out that the author himself was the one who'd been done the mining like OP wanted.

This alert was accurate as i was honestly doing crypto currency mining on these 2 machines as part of an experiment :) which was successful.

Well, the issue is about "security" not a breach to their policy.
Worst case scenario (if mining is prohibited) is his Azure account will be suspended or banned but it's free and almost expired anyways.
