With regard to the intent thereof, the fundamental rationale is to mitigate the number of repetitious discussions. Mayhap cogitation of the substance derived from the incessant embodiment of indignance found in many threads in this board can bring some insight to those that have yet to come to a fruitful realization.

Not going to lie, it hurt my brain a little to read your post. I do agree completely though, if my common understanding of English hasn't failed me.
I felt for a while that the "Signal to Noise" ratio was trending in a positive direction, but it seems there is now more reputation smearing and back and forth petty arguments/grudges cluttering boards. Maybe it was always like this and the noise used to drown it out. I guess with this though the best thing to so is report away and see what moderators think about it.
