In gambling, when you do not know and cannot figure out what to do, you should despite focus on what you do not have to do. For me I think both because first, when you gamble you rely on luck whether your a winner or not and also based on experiences from me & my friends, we tried a couple of strategies to see if we win but no avail so using a strategy is useless. Some games are basically based on luck, there is no amount of years of experience that can make anyone a better player in such games, like I know someone that has played Dice for over 2years now and has never won, if it was based on experience I am sure that he would have improved in playing by now
