INTRODUCTION

We live in an increasingly interconnected world, with devices connecting to the internet to gather important information and updates. Many of these devices are disparate, not able to connect with similar devices to create an interconnected network. However, through utilizing Internet of Things (IoT), these devices are being drawn together, connected and able to share information without requiring human interaction or involvement. Mobile Technologies (MOBTech) aims to support this interconnection, to utilize the processing power of these devices, to put them to work full-time to create a sustainable passive income for its users.

WHAT IS MOBTech?

Many IoT devices are “always on,” meaning they are always connected to the internet. This persistent connection means many of these devices have unused CPU cycles and network bandwidth that can be effectively harnessed to process alternative information, without impacting their regular functioning. Currently, many of these unused CPU cycles cost an end user as their electricity costs do not change, however, by putting these cycles to work, sunk costs remain consistent, but the potential benefits are many. As a result, MOBTech’s goal is to harness IoT devices, and their interconnected nature, to create a sustainable stream of passive income for users by processing data in these unused cycles.

MAINNET SWAP

Early development is ongoing on the MOBTech mainnet, which is scheduled to go live in Q1 2020. At the time of the launch, our partner exchanges will conduct a 1:1 swap. Final specifications of the mainnet will be disclosed at a later date. Upon mainnet launch, MOBTech will become a Proof of Stake (POS) and Masternode (MN) coin, requiring a collateral of 5 million coins for a masternode. Further details regarding the reward structure will be released at a later date.
