Profile url

Sorry to post but Im new here and I'm looking for my profile url/ user id number and I read that I could find it by clicking on my name on my last post. This is my first time posting and I didn't know where else to post at so thats why I'm trying this way. Sorry if I've broke any rules.

You can also click on profile. Under your profile, click on summary; you will get this

Alternatively you can use https://bpip.org/

1. Type in your username and search.

2. On the search results click on your name to display your profile info on BPIP

3. Right click on Visit this Profile button and copy link address.


4.  The last piece of numbers on the link is your user ID.

Just like you were told, click on your username beside every post you make (e.g like this current post) the url on your browser is your profile link. If I understand clearly you're just posting to get the profile link because you already know how. if that's correct welcome to the forum.

When you want to see your profile by clicking the “profile” in the home tab, you will see this URL : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile. 
This is NOT your bitcointalk profile link!

There are two (2) ways to get your bitcointalk profile link:

a. First, you need to go to your profile. 
On the left corner you will see “summary” then click it.  You will get a URL like this : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2171254;sa=summary. 
Remove the “;sa=summary” and the new URL (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2171254) is your bitcointalk profile URL;

or

b. Go to your profile then on the left corner click “show posts”, it will display your previous posts. 
Click one (1) to show your previous post with your bitcointalk username on the left side of the post. 
Click on your bitcointalk username and it will direct you to your profile.  The URL is your bitcointalk profile link.

If you already find the answer to your question, you can now lock the post

There's a lot of old post already, this thread is not anymore necessary. You can use google and then you'll get the right answer.

Before asking any questions,people have to learn the usage of search button on this forum this might help the member without waiting for someone to post on the new thread and also reduce the spam comment on the new threads.

The shortest way is just hover your mouse to your username beside your post.  It will look something like this




if you want to get your profile link just right click your username beside  your  post and select copy link address





That is the shortest way to get your profile link and profile ID

There are different ways on how to get your Profile URL and it is answered in previous post in this thread. Some of it is faster to get the profile link and some are longer. You can choose between this ways if you really want to know the fastest way on getting your profile link.
