What happened with telegram TON ICO ??

I don't see any progress . This kind of ICO's really ruining crypto funds . People are loosing belief on Crypto Currency .

Is this ICO is true because none of the telegram users got such notification stating they are launching tokens. At least the crypto users like us should receive the notification right.
I didn't not find the telegram ICO token sale link so far. I see one person shared the link but still not sure whether it legit or not.

I have been asking myself the same rhetorical question about what happened to Ton Telegram ico which creates lots of hype back then and just vanished into the thin air.  I was beginning to think that the ico was not real in any way and the news around it was all fake

As for this project, I heard that it is developing and a platform release is already planned. as I know it will be a very large ecosystem so it takes a long time to create

AFAIK, they had a private ICO where selected private investors made investment on the token while they haven't come up with public offering as of yet.
As the token is still not implemented on the telegram app and no news about it, it could have been cancelled and the funds returned to the private investors privately. Still we'd be loving social app like Telegram issuing a token through ICO.

Telegram had already planned to launch the TON network in Q3 of 2019 which is July - September 2019.
It has already launched a private ICO and had collected around $1.7 billion. The news has been published on cointelegraph .

Crash? Really? They are calling the upward movement of bitcoin and other markets crash? Do they lost their mind?

Let's say that we had a crash in the market. I don't know why this is the common reason for canceled ICO. Like, they can continue their ICO and delay the listing. It is just that simple.

The information I have regarding the telegram ico was that it would occur in the third quarter of 2019.Am in shock when I opened this post to discover a telegram ico has been held already.. I actually doubt the one held already is legitimate.

As far as I know, there was no ICO at all. Private funds and investors invested large sums in Telegram. And this project did not affect the cryptocurrency market at all. But when they show the development I think will greatly affect.

The TON Ico is the best example of irresponsible, stupid, greedy, speculative "investing".
First off, 850 million dollars?
That is so off the charts ridiculous.
Why on earth would any company ever need that much money?
On top fo that, even if they did (which they don't), they can't make any other revenue?
That's just incompetent.

And then those investing in it, that is just stupid.
It's peopel who see nothing but $$$ and don't even take the time to realize it is a bubble and not sustainable.

This overall greedy, irresponsible investing is what led to our all time high in crypto.
But, it also led to its crash.

As others have stated, I believe it was a private sale, not a public ICO.

And they plan to launch in the 3rd quarter of this year. So no, it wasn't cancelled
due to btc's price or any other issues. It simply was never available to public to begin with.

Are you really sure it raised as much fund as that? There were some projects who lied about the amount raised mainly because they wanted to attract investors. Such projects at the end will not br able to meet up to expectation, which invariable means zero success.
Most of these so called projects end up as scam and abscond with investors' money.

I think it's not the right time, yet. Yes, the telegram received a lot of money from private investors, and I think their still working and developing that blockchain currently. When telegram network starts up, it will become a catalyst for the cryptoindustry as a whole. I think Gram will be the only competitor of the Ethereum network in the future.

I didn't hear about them, but from the reply I can see here, I can tell 100% that this guys are big scammers, and I don't think they actually raised that amount of money, all they did was to create an hype for themselves so that they can get more investors to give them more money, this is how it actually worked, you don't want to invest any money in their project, but once you see that they have already raise $400m, you might change your mind to make investment since you don't want to miss out from what might become of the project.

Are you sure that they raised $850 million in their ICO ? What will they doing with that such amount of money.
I hope that amount is not some fabricated raised amount to attract more investors into the trap.
The more some project raised the funds, the more suspicious for me.
