It's an interesting fact, but what do you mean by that? Ethereum is the king of altcoins, and in many respects it is better than other coins. However, I don't understand what you expect from this fact.

I believe why op is saying this is because there have been a little problem in the ethereum blockchain about how to solve its scalability and I don't think solutions have been found for it, and you then wake up and see a popular news channel telling you that that same coin is scalable, so it is very normal for him/her to be confused about what is currently going on since he is seeing a separate news that that he knows.

I think is good that Ethereum is scalable and the most important thing is that devs if Ethereum not ask money for their coin and who want use it for ICO or to create ERC20 tokens and this help the coin a lot.

Whole Ethereum block chain is way over 2.5 TB. That is a lot. If Ethereum transactions plan to increase with pace as so far something has to be done.

Ethereum is definitely scalable there is no doubt about that and the next major update scheduled for later this year will pave the way for Ethereum 2.0 along with the arrival of professional investment products which will help add additional value and greatly increase its appeal to institutions and enterprises

Ethereum exists because its scalable. And it would prosper with the release of scheduled updates that would also increase the scalability of the coin.
But the non-limited supply of Ethereum is going to a hurdle for a price increase. Ethereum already is 6 times more in supply than Bitcoin. So if it were be able to be as valuable as bitcoin now, it would not be priced above $1000.  Which would be rapidly decreasing in the future.

ETH along with most successful coins encounters scalability problems, and along with other coins there are various proposed solutions, sharding etc. It is important to remember that these projects are under constant development, and work is underway to address these challenges. I have no doubt that ETH will solve scalability.

The network consistently accepts about 30 TPS, with peaks of ~200 TPS (as per my tools). Unsure what amount can actually make it into blocks per second.

However I recall reading that the new upgrade will further increase network capacity.

you wish.
they have been promising scalability of ethereum for as long as this token had existed but we have not seen anything yet. and meanwhile the blockchain is growing at a fast rate to the point that it has been about a year that nobody can ever start running a node anymore because it will take months to syncronize.

ETH is the next big thing after BTC. It is scalable, its price has been growing up ever since, and I think it has a lot of potentials.  It is in many aspects better, and I, being a hardcore investor, invest my money in ETH
