But dev said in irc y'day, "if I can't fix bug then I'll turn code over to largest holders.  They can do what they want with it" (no exact but close enough).

Whats that mean?

(now fanbois brush off "oh no retard he just meant worst case, will never happen"

Actually I take it back, you're not a "Retard" you're whats known as a fair-weather investor. When other people are making you money and things are going great, you love whatever you are involved in. However as soon as one thing goes wrong, one hiccup in the overall plan, you jump on the "get our pitchforks and kill that fucker" bandwagon. Instead of holding on for the long term (which by the way is going to be much better than you all think) you would rather jump ship because the waiter got your order wrong. I am glad you are leaving and frankly I hope this loss costs you so much money that you have to leave the crypto world all together, cause I (along with so many other people) am tired of you and all the other people like you. The bullshit you cause in the community (IRC and posts on here) is not worth the absoloutley nothing you contribute to helping the community along.

So farewell Mr. Fair-Weather Investor. Good luck at your job, or whatever it is you do for the next 40 years till you can barely afford to retire!

Nice try at derailing the thread but,

Can you explain why Baritus won't post the public addresses so we can verify his theft fairy tale?

~BCX~

He already addressed it, you choose to ignore it.

I don't have to prove anything, Baritus is the one that has made the blatantly bogus claims.

~BCX~

actualy when determining guilt in a court of law the burden of proof is on the accuser.

but if you want me to explain it so you can understand it (having an extremely small troll brain)

It depends on the legislation.

Anyhow, you could argue that Baritus is the accuser here. He's the one making the claim.

I am hesitant to post in such an ill-tempered thread, but the conversation linked above is, simply put, terrifying!
If there really is a trojan out in the wild capable of doing the stuff Baritus wrote, the implications are catastrophic.
Speaking as a code-blind person, would it be wrong to assume that one or all of the exchanges (I think there's eleven?) could be literally sitting on a time bomb right now?

<baritus> through some PHP bug(I'm guessing) or some trojan that's going around, some hacker was able to reset password on c ave
<baritus> for a few users
<baritus> not sure how it's possible since I already looked at all my code and it doesn't allow for it ever
<baritus> and the other odd things is, they were able to get the verification email codes
<baritus> from the user's email accounts
<baritus> which I am not sure of how they did it either
<baritus> good news is, I had detection kick in that locked out those accounts
<baritus> so I still have everyone's funds
<baritus> but the bad news is, someone has a trojan embedded in a lot of crypto community or some unknown bug in PHP makes it completely insecure

I think it's obvious there was no theft.

Took his $30,000 and is walking away.

~BCX~

Well that's quite a bold prediction. Lets just wait and see how it turns out.

No he did not address, he simply said the wallet contained a lot of addresses.

Like cut and paste is a difficult operation.

I can track 1 or 100 addresses just the same.

This is a very lame excuse on his part.

~BCX~

A lame excuse kinda like the one you made stating (and i quote)

when someone asked you to provide proof?  OH YEA, you know all about excuses dont you

I especially love the part where said an employee physically placed a key logger on his unlocked Windows machine.

Had to be at his house since there is no CryptoAve  or Digitalcoin office LOL

His wife robbed him LOL

~BCX~

Noone said that, someone said that COULD have happened. but once again you changed peoples words. seems the only thing you are good for is editing other peoples conversation and speculating.

but on the brighter side of life, lets enjoy a nice joke.

How do you castrate someone like BCX?

No worries, just misdirection to hide real issue.

Only way you get viruses or keyloggers is ignorance by using windows.  Very little chance if you use secure operating system, not swiss cheese like ms software.

So don't be dumb and lazy...protect your coins!

Why do you care anyway ?

BCX cares because this is how he makes money. He is not into muckraking but FUD spreading. Some of you may still remember that lots of people lost thousands of litecoins when he threatened to 51% Litecoin in 2012 and claimed he was behind the DDOS attacks of certain exchanges or pools. He labelled this "testing" of coins, supposedly doing the developer "a favor" (all BS of course). Nevertheless, FUD spread on the trollbox and while LTC was still young and inexpensive (maybe 3 cents) people weren't sure if they would lose their entire stash or feared it would become worthless. Everyone panicked and sold at market value, never getting the chance to buy back their coins for what they sold them for. I think the bottom was 0.003 BTC back then.

Consider yourself WARNED not to throw away your coins just the same. It's a scheme.
