Edit: Nevermind, apparently it does take awhile to show up. Mods feel free to delete this topic Tongue

Do they have to get confirmed first before it shows up?

Trying to do a transaction but I got:

"Ready to Release

0.00 bitcoins are ready to be released to 1GG1x1Cxb5cDXZopupg87LKATFQzLgnGnf. "

Wondering if I should wait or ask the guy to try again
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

ClearCoin requires 3 confirmations before coins are available to be released; the sender will see something like:
Quote
Received:   0 (20.00 still waiting for confirmation)
... while they're in the process of being confirmed.

I'll change the receiver's status page so it shows the amount awaiting confirmation, too.

How often do you get the chance to work on a potentially world-changing project?
