They are dual mining eth and zil right , can you clarify what you mean by scam, I used to mine zil as well but they have shitty node software and I got tired of my nodes constantly failing and getting stuck

Maybe he is talking about dual mining that is why he thought that they are mining for Ziliqa.

As I understand about dualmininh of ZIL+ETH, there's chance to mine ZIL for few minute while you mine ETH for 2hours before you mine another ZIL. However, they seems to did some core enchantment, a lot of their miners seems to have some problem after the enchantment and I will advice you go to their mining discussion area so you can get your answer from the team.

It's really worth to read at least for a few minutes.
It's double miner and you can use claymore to do that to mine ethereum combined with another coin even like pascal coin.

Zilliqa is not a scam rather it is doing very well right now! Lots of good exchange-listed Zil coin and their trading volume also very good. But I can feel your confusion. But that is not a problem, you may read that article what poodle63 provided! Zil coin is working through the Ethereum dual miner where you can mine Ethereum with another coin! And I suggest too for using the Claymore Miner v12! It is the best Ethereum dual miner so far!

What miner do you use to mine dual mine Eth/Zil? What is the electricity rate like for dual mining those two.

I remember dual mining Eth and Siacoin back in the day, was super power hungry to dual mine.

Guys, please calm down. If you have already begun to think that zilika scam, then 99.99% of the projects can be safely written there.

Anyways, just like other comments. Seems like Duel mining - Other coins and pools have done the same with coins.

I know of a guy who has it switch coins when mining anytime the Luck% goes over 100%, and then mines until that tough block gets resolved. Not sure if this could explain it?

Lol, Ziliqa is one major coin supported and followed by many in the cryptospace so making such accusations should be done with carefulness and caution. Ah well, by the way i learnt there's something called dual mining. I don't have much knowledge about that buh i guess it may be related to that.

ETH hashrate seems to be exactly in the ZIL pow windows.
But when you mine ZIL, you don't mine another thing ... Dual is when its NOT zil pow ...

I think one of the reasons why you are telling zilliqa is a scam because of dual mining. There's no issue with that in fact, I already tried to mine zilliqa it's just that I am always encountering issues with the nodes that's why I shift to other.

Is not the matter of thinking for the problem which the OP had with Ziliqa glaring. However, OP or you are the only having issue in mining Ziliqa this days and like I said earlier before on this thread they done an upgrade which seem not to be put in place which I believe was what trigger the mining problem.

I hear about dual mining for the first time. It means that you are mining 2 coins simultaneously with split-computing power? 50% power is reserved for ETH and 50% for ZIL?
